Lol… Purple People Eater….I’ve been teased in a fin way about that song eing my theme song as I love the colour Purple… it’s my trademark ….lol..

I grew up across 3 cemeteries, one of which some family are buried there, my late parents included.

And at Halloween I was never keen on that fact, as my 2 older brothers insisted that ghosts were going to come over to our house to haunt…. I don’t care too much for Halloween or Horror Movies , unless they are comedy stuff… I get anxiety/panic attacks so watching Horror/Halloween in general, I don’t care for, and the fact I’m somewhat genuinely psychic in terms/regards to ghosts, spirits, etc and have experienced physical issues , stemming from thos, that cements my psychic abilities /belief in that realm ( please don’t laugh or make light of it, as it’s not an awareness, I’m exactly happy to posess , though it is kind of fascinating at same token but the anxiety, etc, it causes me to experience, not pleasant ) I only mention this fact of me because it’s a Halloween related theme. I do know there are nob-believers/skeptics out there but nit in my family, I have relatives whom share this awareness to that I gave, moreso on my late Mom’s side of family then my late Dad’s…🎃👻

Yes, it was…. had to celebrate it in baking style ….

In celebration of MLT CLUB’S 5th Anniversary/Birthday … Homemade Apple Crisp freshly baked and with Whipped Cream on top ( cheated on Whipped Cream- store bought small carton but whipped it up using my late Mom’s 50+ year General Electric Mixer )

  • I love the songs that I can sing/dance/air guitar-bass-drum along too…. so that’s pretty much sums up my Beatles choices….lol… A variety, slow/fast songs 😎🤘🏻

  • To Chris Weber …

Hmmmm interesting how Google came up with that description for a Canadian Thanksgiving typical meal… ( either someone out there assumed/presumed that’s how Canadians celebrate it, , which is fine, but in a way incorrect, but also in sense has/had no real knowledge of Canadian culture and just assumed/presumed “maple syrup ” factor because it’s associated with Canada ) …it kind of made me chuckle …. but to be fair, as Canada is diverse in culture, therefore perhaps, Canadian Thanjsgiving can be celebrated by/ however way, but usually it’s turkey, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberries, ham, pumpkin/apple pie, typically… etc…)

Also reminds me of how many in throughout the world think Toronto is the capital city of Canada, when it is in fact Ottawa … For each province of Canada, there is a main capital city for that particular province but Canada as a whole, it’s Ottawa ( formerly known as ” Bytown ” away back when ) … There’s the new thing learned for today …. 😁🍁🇨🇦🦃🤘🏻

  • Thankyou All…had my family Thanksgiving on Saturday…I contributed to the meal of brining fudge I made ( I usually only make this fudge for Xmas but thought it would be nice to do for Thanksgiving )… It was a lively meal and got to bring home a ” care-doggy bag ” pkg for my supper tonight …. the fudge stayed at my oldest brother’s place…it will be eaten up , what’s left of it…lol …. 🍁🇨🇦🦃🤘🏻😁

And to add, to this topic of Jung’s, though not necessarily direct pipe organs related, but kind of, here’s a great YT clip that really explains how the Peace Tower Bells work in the Centre Block of Parliament Hill ( I’ve been inside Parliament Hill, only a handful of times but never up to the Bell part, only to the Question Period Area, private banquet room, main floor, etc. …the Question Period room tour was part of a Grade 10 History class field trip, while the private banquet room was for a Xmas party that a friend of mine invited me to, when she was working on the Hill at the time for a long time before she had to retire from her work in the food sector( “food prep assistant ” ) due to medical/health issues…the whole inside of all of Parliament Hill is quite interesting…. and even more , the fact that the only original Parliament Building part that survived the Great Fire was its Library ….

Okay , that was your quick condensed History lesson of Ottawa’s Parliament Hill from my perspective….lol…

Here’s that link for the Bell Tower working & how it works :

I love pipe organs ….. I’ve only ever seen a few times that I’ve been inside the Christ Cathedral in downtown Ottawa for special occasions , that I’ve seen pipe organs in person …..

I’m sure the Notre Dame Basilica close by downtown has some too, but I’ve never been in there…..yet…..

Though I’ve been inside the famous Basilica in downtown Montreal only once, that was stunning to see …..🤘🎼🎵🎶🎹🔊🎚🎛

Hi Jung, No that was not a young Bryan Adams in that video ….only a lookalike…great dating though…The Real Bryan Adam’s only did vocals on song… never appeared in either video versions of this song ….. I prefer this song done Live….beats the record version hands diwn…well, actually, GT is better Live , all around, much more rock n rollin except for the slower songs but still, better Live…. I should know, only known them personally since 1988-89 and seen them in concert as in lost track how many times …. and always a great visit with them either before a show or after or both .

One of the best gestures they did a few years ago was to do a private surprise gig at a nursing home for a woman who I think is their oldest fan, it was arranged by a lifelong GT fan that works at the nursing home who arranged it, and the guys were playing a concert gig that night or next day ….it went viral….it was on the news ….

GT and their respect/love to their fans parallels what/how MLT are with fans and These are the only bands I can honestly think of /know truly, genuinely that has this effect…🤘🏻👍🏻👌

Yes….I believe it’s still like that… did let Team MLT know a couple days ago as it’s been like this for a few days to a week now….but glad you also posted in Support/Suggestions area, just in case the message I sent wasn’t received …. I sure don’t know what/why this is going on for Team MLT, but it’s both frustrating/disturbing ….hoping it all can be fixed ….and hoping further preventive measures can be implemented to stop further reoccurences … I’m sorry this has happened to/for them .

  • Lol…Hopefully no one is/gets offended by this link… I ‘m not…it’s Frikkin Funny .. and since I celebrated with Family on Saturday ….how am I celebrating the Canadian Thanksgiving Monday holiday ?! …. why, but of course in a Tim Hortons having my English Breakfast Tea , EH ?! 🦃🇨🇦🍁🫖☕️🇬🇧 … and No, I cannot eat anything from Tim’s because of my nut allergies, as son food items have nuts and obviously there’s a highly good assurance certainty cross-contamination factor involved so, I bring my own treats … ( a Nut free Kit Kat choco bar- made in Canada in a dedicated Nut/Peanut Free facility and/or a homemade cookie/teabiscuit that I made ) to enjoy my tea with ) …

  • That looks interesting, yummy, do enjoy 🍁🇨🇦🦃🤘🏻😁

  • I don’t think I’ve heard of that being done before but perhaps ,I’m sure it does happen , it’s traditional turkey as far as my family does it with also a basted cooked ham with the cranberry sauce, veggies….etc .I made my fudge that I ususally only do up at the family Xmas dinner but decided to do up a special batch for Thanksgiving…. 🦃🇨🇦🍁🤘🏻✌️

  • Wishing your sister a Happy Birthday, enjoy your Thanksgiving Wknd 🎉🎊🦃🎂

  • Haha to both JP & Tim on their replies …GobbleHalloweenMerryXmas ….🙃🦃🎃🎄
