This is new to me, and I like the colourization factor…. I’m more familiar with later Beatles stuff than their earlier stuff , but all in all, it’s worthy to appreciate all of it ????

Jung, you’re gonna love it, once it finally arrives to you….it took almost 3/4wks to get to me but I’m certain part of the delay was that of being “quarantined hostaged” for a certain time frame before being released to be delivered to me…Canada Post, they can be finicky at times????????????

Thankyou Jung… as for drums in the other post thread re: Kinks… I did try out the Tumba bongo type drums as part of the Public Library Music Instrument Borrowing Program as well as trying out a banjo, pre Covid… and I recall going to an uncke’s pkace once in awhike and he had bongo drums, buy did I have fun wracking on those with door shut as to not disturb everyone else for about an hour…lol, and dabbling around on my aunt’s piano/ organ ( she’s a church organist/pianist for her church) whenever at her place and near Toronto at another aunt’s place in sunpnmertime when I’d spend a week there or weekend if with my parents or on my own in later years before my aunt passed in early 2000, ( uncle died on my 18th bday), dabble on their old high top piano and sing with uncle as hed play piano, uke, sax, etc…. yep, music and rhythm is indeed in my soul…????????

My 2nd oldest brother loves the Kinks, that was my introduction to them when we were younger, as he’d crank up the tunes, maybe trying to play certain guitar parts alongside listening to it, and ” You Realky Got Me” stood out for me… He still plays his guitars from time to time, but mostly it’s Blues stuff he enjoys now, but still has his album collection of Kinjs, Beatles, etc and of course Blues stuff. He does dabble around on his own but enjoys playing alongside what he listens to… whenever he wasn’t around, well no one home except for me ( Mom was in hospital by this time)I’d go get his guitars, being careful with them, plug into the amp, and just have fun creating sounds as I couldn’t and still can’t play properly..he did come one time unexpected and caught me….well, oops a bit ticked he was but at same time could hear I had a natural sense of rhythm. The same thing happened when there was a time his buddy left his drum set at our place and every so often on wknds held basenent jam sessions, my brother was a tad ticked catching me on tge drums but at same time impressed that his baby sister had a natural sense of rhythm and even at a later point in time, we had a our own mini jam session going, as he’d just play a tune of sorts and I intuitively would listen along to get his rhythm vibe and play on the drums with a kind of complimentary rhythm of mine… by no means I’m that musically gifted but I know I have a keen sense of rhythm, it was fun while the drum set was at our house back then until one day, the buddy picked it up…I went back to playing on bro’s guitar when he/Dad weren’t home…lol… That’s also why poetry comes natural to me, the keen sense of natural rhythm…????????

In Canada, it is popular, I ‘ve always liked Julie Andrew’s, and I’ve always enjoyed the movie from the firstvtime I saw it on Walt Disney hiyr on Sundays as a kid in the 70s, I even have the VHS tape for it. I think it’s one of those preference movies, either it’s liked by many or not. Though, I too find it kind of odd that it’s not more known in Europe , as it is in Canada and USA, I guess boils down to it being a case of , “to each their own” opinions about it. I appreciated your reply Lisa.

In agreement, regarding Bill and Lisa’s replies, I think here in Canada, most radio stations are corporately owned by big time companies and adhere to certain criteria, etc , perhaps independent run stations would have better chances of MLT radio airplay, I have emailed a few indie stations over the years… and the road path Team MLT have chosen is the perfect direction for them, ????

I love the new layout, features as well, just kinda struggling in navigation in figuring things out and have no clue how to logout as I have my photo icon where a Logout word should be or is that what is supposed to be, your photo icon and not the word ” Logout”, maybe it’s different setup on Android devices than on a computer or Apple devices . In time, I will eventually figure things out, just wish I knew how to Logout with this new setup…lol for I’m not the most TechSmart person…..????

Thanks JP for song choice ????…good one !! and Jung: Thankyou for your 2 cents… guess I’m not alone on this experience…lol…I agree , once all kinks dealt with, all will be good 2 go… but then perhaps it’s a possibility that it’s my browser android tablet/phone that might not be completely compatible with the new layout meaning, it may not feature all that is supposed to be seen… I’m optimistic????
