Very calming and a Celtic vibe to 8t, I love this Jung, Thankyou for the link, and the bird chirps and flute compliment each other beautifully….

Speaking of piano/nature combo, you have reminded me of the CD series that my buddy , the piano/keyboardist from Glass Tiger had out awhile back, ( I think it’s still available to get) that was just that, nature sounds intertwined with piano, quite relaxing, though the thunderstorm CD wasn’t my keen favorite as I’m not a thunderstorm fan…

Yes Bill, I echo your sentiments exactly, for those of us ( myself included) who were not there to see them at The Cavern, this album makes up for that and provides us with sense as though we indeed were there in person, no denying thst fact with this album, very much so. ☮

This reminds me of the times when my 2nd oldest brother held basement music jam sessions on wknds… , one time in particular, during the summer, I was coming home with my parents from groceries, or whatever we were doing, ( Either my oldest brother had already moved out by then or was away on wknd ) and the jam session was that loud, basement windows , kitchen windows were open, the house was rockin and rollin….Thankfully my aunt that was by tg0hen living in the house next door on the property there, didn’t quite hear the full brunt of it like we had…I got used to it, didn’t mind…. of course the ones across the road from us in the cemeteries, didn’t complain … dead silence…????

Canada had a cool 60s music scene going on , that I discovered awhile ago when I borrowed a DVD on Canadian Music Scene History, from the public library…it was interesting, got to realize names and faces to some bands of whom songs I had heard of growing up but never knew who the names were bands were of or what they looked like…lol…. Never too late to learn new things in music history????

WooHoo… I liked Mona’s reply and subtle hint????… Until the Xmas CD had come out I wasn’t aware or knew of the song prior to MLT’s take but I sure loved it from the get-go and between that one and ” All I Want Christmas To Be” those 2 are my replay constants????

Yepoers, Christmas time arrived in Ottawa, there is a special Magic Lights display, in Ottawa at Wesley Clover Equestrian Park I can’t go go see as you need a car to see it, I don’t drive, and with Covid, unless you’re in a family or close friend bubble with someone who drives, you’re out of luck but there are houses, etc decorated with Christmas lights, etc… I have fond memories of going out at night with my parents, driving around in different neighborhoods to see all the Christmas lights, decor, I miss that but cherish those memories. It’s still a tad sad to have Christmas without my parents ( they passed on) and now with Covid, not even sure I’ll be able to spend with my family, I’ve not physically in person seen them since last Christmas. One of the Christmas traditions I still do, crank up Irish Rover ‘s ” Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer” and ” Merry Bloody Xmas To Me” as my fave Irish Rovers Xmas song classics though their other Xmas stuff is good but those 2 stand out and are played Xmas Day in the morning. Also, is Glass Tiger’s ” Give Love For Xmas” and they just released their own Xmas Album, and I live many other Xmas songs, but ever since I bought MLT Xmas CD last year, that too, has now become a Xmas Day Tradition for je well I do pkay it before Xmas…lol…it helps bring me into the spirit and even moreso this year…

Hi Mike, that was back when I still lived at home, we sold the house in around 2003 to a business, they wanted the property not the house, it was demolished, so if the ones across the road were complaining …I’ll never know….lol… but my parents, some relatives are peacefully guarding and looking over the area????

Hi Mike, yes, I do enjoy Country- Rock, with those you’ve mentioned and I actually liked Vince Gill as a kid without realizing it was him singing Pure Prairie League’s big hit, ” Let Me Love You Tonight”, until years later when I became a Vince Gill fan, and found out he was in PPL and sang that song….lol…I had good ear for music as a kid…ol…I finally years ago found the PPL CD of hits with ” Let Me Love You Tonight… Thankyou for your reply Mike…If the music moves me , from get-go …I’m hooked !!
