I’m going to chime in with the census of all going their own ways, and perhaps John and Paul continuing to collaborate now and then and we’ll never know but a possible reunion of sorts might of occured in the 80s/90s. Hard to say, really, I think it’s fair to say, it can be open to interpretation, and that no one’s replies are right or wrong, but neutral…that’s my 2 cents worth…

Can’t really provide concrete input as I’m not overly familiar with all the stuff from these bands but I will say that I’d probably would go for an obscure song from each if I liked tge way it went….

I usually reserve it until December to enjoy but ince in a blue moon, if tge mood calls for a pick-up, out it comes, gets cranked in my headphones, and uplifts me????

Hell Yes, to that, best thing to feell ike one was actually there though unfortunately, that was notbtge case for me and for many others, but those videos make up for that and you certainly get the sense and vibe you were there, not just in spirit ????

My tech smart knowhow is quite limited… Lol… I don’t quite understand what you meant by in your reply to me about hyperlink, etc.
I just know under all the tabs, you can have option to subscribe/not to receive all replies pertaining to the postings in those tabs, like General Discussion for an example… I’m not sure why you’re getting the weird things going on in your email, unless Team MLT did a recent website upgrade and this was an after effect. I always get replies by whomever to postings I subscribed to, in receiving the replies by email…. I hope that explanation helped but if further confused you, my apologies if so… I explained best I could, perhaps someone else more knowledgeable with this can offer better explanation or Team MLT replied to your inquiry over on the Support Tab.

If you have subscribed to receive replies pertaining to this forum, you’ll always get the replies to the specific postings that which you have subscribed to , you can also unsubscribe to stop receiving emails of replies to all forum topics …I hope that helps or might explain what’s going on , or….perhaps in a recent website upgrading, this was the result….

Okay, recap… Strictly/specifically California Band/Singers I was intending regarding this post…. My apologies for having worded it wrong and it was misunderstood for my meaning, I had listed California bands, singers specifically to get ball rolling… Although good song selection are listed… but are they all from California?! ????????

Lol… I was meaning for this topic posting to be strictly California based band/singers, Hence the California Sound… How on Earth did Trooper / Chilliwack equate into this… Lol… They ‘re Canadian and I did meet Trooper once and the one guy from band was a jerk…?!… Ok…. Back on track now. California Based please…. Sorry that you all misunderstood my wording….

Jung…I’d like to clarify myself….I never said that I don’t like Beach Boys, I do like them, always have, perhaps not quite as much as you do but I still enjoy their music, I’m sorry that you’ve misunderstood and thought I never liked them at all , not the case, I grew up with their music too in the house . But I will say, and agree with you on, of my not keen’ness about Classical music …. I don’t always make myself understood in my wording sometimes and this results …people get wrong idea or misunderstand my meaning and my apologies , I try to express/convey clearly how I want to say things but along the way the perception of one’s words gets lost, misunderstood. The meaning of how one wanted to state from the mind didn’t quite come across /translate equally in written form.
We all have our common love for MLT just as we all equally have our other music tastes and that’s okay, that’s the choice of which we call our own to enjoy alongside MLT… It’s also okay to respectfully disagree/agree on things.
Like you, I do get your lifelong enthusiasm for Beach Boys , I’m same for Glass Tiger, yes, there are songs of GT that I’m not exactly keen on , and I’m sure same goes for you in the Beach Boys Music Dept….lol…. It’s Hit and Miss… As I said I like Barbara Ann, I just got tired of hearing it on radio, the radio stns overplayed, meaning I simply got turned off listening of it because of radio overplay but I still enjoy it, never stopped liking it and will sing and dance to tge music if I come across it or if I was a party or karaoke.

It’s catchy but will agree, in that when overplayed on radio, etc, it does lose its appeal , for me…
I’m sorry Jung but it does…and a few other Beach Boys songs for same reason. I do like their stuff, just not in abundant playing repeatedly to listen quantities…. more for you to enjoy as I give you my share to embrace…..lol …I can handle once in awhile but not constantly of their stuff…
