I remember asking something similar on here to MLT , whether it

was  about songs/videos/instruments…. Mike’s Q reminded me of it…lol…  Mike,  it was a great Q to ask, love Lisa’s reply?

I’m a fan of harmonica and blues harp, and….anyone singing Bob Dylan stuff other than Bob… ( (I’m sorry but his nasal like tone voice drives me insane, can’t listen to him singing ,  nor Neil Young for same reason, their songs are good just not them singing them …lol ) …it’s a senitivity thing  I have,  certain sounds, voices, food, drink make me cringe, literally, can’t tolerate it)

This is the one instrument, I’d enjoy learning because I could just pick it up and start playing…. I’d figure out notes by ear as I can’t read or understand music theory/sheet music.

To play guitar and uke is another dream but my fingers/coordination are’t meant to be for it… I love playing my tambourine, and my other exotic percussion instruments, I”d luv to tackle cajon, drums, cowbell…I’ve played a triangle, I can dabble a little on piano…. I’ve tried a banjo, a drum  called  a Tumba… the Tumba and Banjo was on loan pre-Covid times from the lical public library near me that is one of the participating library branches offering this  lianing of  certain  music instruments…

At home…I always sing out my lungs and love dancing and air guitaring  to it when I listen to it with my headphones…exceptions not being able to sing outloud, dance, air guitaring would be at a bus station, bus stop, on the bus, malls, librarires etc, but by myself in a park, I would…lol…?

I was introduced to Van Halen, courtesy of my 2nd oldest bro, and being in my preteen-teen yrs when that occured, and saw what they looked liked…of course I had a crush on Eddie, after all, in my opinion he was was the cutest, sexiest one in the band, I always thought David was full of himself…and Eddie’s guitaring , that just added to his mystique and my crush on him even moreso…lol, and could play piano too…. Both David and Sammy brought their own flavouringsvto band but will agree, thst with David, it was more energized….Sammy to me,  just didn’t quite have the calibre to which David  posessed..,to me the best  VH years…the 80s for them?

Not sure Bill,  if this  topic posting had also intended to include lyrics, in which I agree, if that’s correct, would make out to drag on and on in replies, I say keep it, short, simple, sweet….in terms of just sticking with replies of song titles , and perhaps just mention their time length , brief overview without going into the  full blown nooks and crannies of each song … just a thought…

Golly Gee, it was okay to have a Man’s version, no problem and then me, being a woman decided on a Woman’s version posting and it  becomes problematic…lol….  You don’t have to name every song, just your  particularfaves from one genre or  another…  Lol…. Just kidding but it did strike a funny chord to/with me…. To me… There are as many Man name songs as Women name songs….I like to think Equal here….??
