In country music, this rings true from old school classics to  today’s idea of ” new country” ( I’m fan of old school country), and Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, come to mind first and foremost as examples on songwriting about their own lives, others have done so too, but these two in particular standout, at least for me they do…

Well, if ever I was to embark on buying a guitar… (never say never…lol )… The criteria for me ,would be… #1… Purple-any shade #2… sizewise compatible for my wee hands, short stubby like fingers that are  somewhat now become arthtitic, short arms, #3…6-12 strings, compatible for my short body stature, affordability, ( middle ground- not top notch too expensive  but not dirt cheap crap either, in between like) #4… I’d be more inclined to buy primarily based on size/comfort/personality-looks of guitar over brand name, I have to love it from “Hello- Get Go”.. follow my gut instincts, if it speaks music to me, then that’s the one meant for me….??

Creeque Alley,…..?,  and there’s a couple of solo Cass Elliot songs written specifically for her : ” Don’t Call Me Mama Anymore” , ” I’m Coming to the Best Part of My Life”  and then there are 2 of Glass Tiger songs, “My Town,”  ” My Song”…..perhaps a few others from them but these 2 GT ones stand out….That’scall for now that come to mind for me… oh wait…”cass singing…” You Gotta Make Your Own Kind of Music”…and bith Denny Doherty’s solo albums in tgec70s offers a few autobiographical-ish songs on each album…. ok, 3:30AM, niw finally tired to go to sleep,,,GoodNightMorning…..

My music tastes vary, I ususally listen to MLT, Glass Tiger, Cass Elliot solo stuff, Mamas and Papas, April Verch, Marla Gibbs, Pstsy Cline, Amy Winehouse, Beatles, etc….Whatever gets my musicheart going , I sing along to/with, air guitar, air piano, air drums, etc… That’s my 2 cents worth…

Lol, true JP but I’ve had 13 yrs to sort them apart, and I’ve more or less have succeeded, as I go by their slightly distinctive  facial  features , even at the younger ages of them both, Mona is slightly  taller, rather than go by  their trademark  photo posing ? As I’ve said , go and study their facial features in particular  now, and then go back to their childhood photos, you can then get an idea of who  iscwho if you do that…. yes, it is almost impossible at first glances to differentiate  the two as youngsters but you will eventually get to know their facial distinctions , and figure who is who…it took me awhile but I believe I’ve more or less sorted them out as young us…!?…Lol

I’m enjoying being entertained in reading stuff here, that I’m somewhat clueless  about and can’t  quite grasp concept of…lol…Thankyou, the tech aspect of music, in terms of notes, theory,  etc…. goes right on over  my head…I just know when someon sings high or low… I have no idea what key is sung or instrument it’s  being played in, etc… I just know to like what I hear and can sing along and pick up the sense of rhythm….lol

I’ve come to figure out who is who for the most part when they were wee tykes ….Mona’s facial features even at that  young age, is slightly distinctive, and if you study carefully,  both their facial features in the present and then go back to pix as kids, you will find you can somewhat distinguish them  as youngsters….
