While on this topic of country sounds from bands, Both Denny Doherty and Cass respectively on each of their solo stuff have offerings of country sounds eminating from some of their songs, and it works because their vocals were versatile, and easily blending with the music and/or other singers…. the collaboration of Cass with Dave Mason is excellent, I recommend giving the solo stuff of both Denny and Cass and the Cass and David Mason collaboration stuff a listen….

I’m a Canada Dry Gingerale Gal, Schweppes Gingerale if Canada Dry not available, chocolate milk, my teas of Orange Pekoe, English/Irish/Scootish Breakfast, grape or orange juice, water person as I don’t drink either, good Q asked Darryl, I have often wondered and would of asked this eventually, but now you’ve asked, and we know the answer, awesome?

Yes, I like ” Don’t Worry Baby ” but I recall another rendition I like of that song I heard as a kid, but can’t recall now who it was done by.
As for Willie/Merle, I’ll go with Merle in singing voice dept, as Willie offers up that nasal twang similarity to Bob/Neil, that makes me cringe to listen to but both are fine songwriters, in their own rights….I will give Willie credit on the songwriter aspect….lol

Well, both those song samples from Howard and Joe, yes, both have thst kind of Beach Boy-ish 60s vibe to them , but I get an Eagles sense about coming from them, in my mind and ears… How one interprets music is truly unique…like taking the same recipe to give 10 people, though it’s the same recipe, each one is going to have a different outcome…it’s okay to each have one’s own opinion, it’s respecting the differences … I believe we can agree that Music has an effect, globally, and it’s up to each person to interpret in their own accordance as to how it conveys to them personally, perhaps collectively too but moreso, individually…That’s my 2 cents worth today…
