I was also having that issue. Thanks for the fix! (double entendre admitted) Some of the longer songs often pause on the surprise jukebox, but I’m certain that’s just my hardware/software prob. They resume when buffering catches up. I’d love to hear your “What a Wonderful World” on the SJB, too. I always picture you two as youngsters sitting in the dandelions when I hear anyone sing that song now! Or maybe it’s already there, but I haven’t been lucky enough for it to come up. Actually, not sure if I’ve ever heard “Der Commissar”, or “Punkrocker” or some other early faves there either…????

Sorry JP, but I have zero experience with any amps. I wish you all the luck in the world swaying Marlo’s sense of generosity, tho. Hey, maybe if you’re a good boy, Santa might swing you one for Christmas!

My sister has nine years on me, but I’m taller, much better-looking, sooo much smarter, more successful, and, of course, much, MUCH more humble. ????

Well put, Walter. I share your sentiments about the club, the music, and the Wagner family. I notice also that our basic generation is very well represented here. I wish for the twins’ sake more younger people would take notice and join us. We have some, but it seems it’s difficult to win over more from younger age groups. Possibly because of the way the modern world practically force-feeds today’s mass-produced, watered-down “music” to us all. I’m sure there is still good new stuff out there, but it seems rarer all the time, and I sure don’t want to start a debate about what qualifies.

Michael, you do win something! My sincere respect! I sure enjoy the interaction with all you other clubbers! At my first job out of high school, there was an established automatic response to anyone who desired recognition for a job well done. Everyone would good-naturedly chime in “Waddya want, a Bozo button?”

I like that, JP. To be honest, I don’t really feel old, either. Most days I feel more like 35! Mentally I sometimes regress to 15.???? Just seems like Revolver and other classic LPs shouldn’t be over half a century old. Especially as fresh as they still feel. Maybe the fact that the twins keep producing great music with the same feel helps keep these classics feeling more current.

Wow, David! Just wow….. Thanks much for all your research and number-crunching! Maybe the WWT DVD promo vid will do better closer to Christmas. ????

Absolutely, Walter, and everyone else, too! I can’t recall a day in recent memory without MLT music in some form. If I forget to get the surprise juke box fired up each morning, I get a subtle reminder from my 84-year-old Mom! Dad is 91 with dementia, but also joins in the Ohlwine chapter of MLT fandom.

Queens, princesses, it doesn’t matter how we describe them. I think I once refered to them as ‘Rockergirl Royalty Mona and Guitar Goddess Lisa’. I don’t recall exactly which video or song I had just seen or heard when I said that, but it fits so many! Even disregarding their insane artistic talents, they and their folks are magnificent humans. I believe they treat their fellow human beings the way God intended us all to.

Yes, Dan, that’s where I saw it! Thanks so much for helping me out with that! That’s been bugging me for quite awhile, and it was such a brief clip, a search of Ringo tambourine smile yielded no results. ‘Real Love’ was definitely where I saw it. Great how the MLT club community helps each other!

I love that ending with the self-repairing light ????! Now I know how you got that yvoorg sound to go with it! Great question, JP, and welcome to volume 3!

That’s awesome, Jung! I never heard of that one before!

Mona, you continue to downplay your drumming ability. You’re so much more accomplished than you allow yourself to take credit for. Even back in the MonaLisa and Band video of ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’ your drum solo was incredible! Your giant, spontaneous smile when the crowd acknowledged your solo is one of the most joyous moments in MLT vids for me. There are many others, but this instance fits this post. As for the tambourine smile and drumstick eyebrows clips, I always assumed that was simply unbridled personality bursting forth! So glad to hear that’s the case!

Poor Rudolf! But that was hilarious, Lisa! Being a short-haired male and my Mom never being able to grow long hair, I(we) assumed it would be easier for another to braid your hair. You should be commended; it always looks stunning, wether you’re made up for a video shoot or running thru mountains just as you are. My sister used to maintain longish hair, tho not nearly as long as yours. She often carped about what a pain it was to wash, brush, etc. (She’s a bit of a drama queen ????), so we want to thank you for the extra effort you put forth to always have beautiful hair!
