It was pretty cool, Jung. If my memory serves, I think they said 1800 drones. Could have been a catastrophe with just one mechanical or radio signal glitch! Made me think of Rudolf and his mad skills! ‘Imagine’ started with a children’s choir singing, then four different accomplished singers representing different parts of the world. Mom and I really enjoyed it, but it was on too late for Dad.???? Take care, my friend!

You’re right, Lynn. I guess I could’ve listed many more elements, but then the post might’ve gotten too long to read in one sitting! ????

I’ve been fascinated with all things in the night sky since I was very young. I don’t possess a large astronomical knowledge, but enjoy it on a casual level. Ursa major and minor are usually easily identifiable, but my favorite is definitely Caseopiea. Easy for me to find that big ‘ol ‘W’ up there! I invariably greet her with a “hiya, Cassie” when I first spot her! Also enjoy looking at the moon thru binocs, too.

Thanks, David! I’m deeply impressed with your, Lynn’s and Jung’s grasp on these formulae! I was good at math in school, and still use trig some days in my toolmaker job, but won’t pretend to understand to the degree of you three. Also too lazy…err..I mean too busy to try! Sure glad to have you guys to do the heavy mental lifting for me!

Yes, we’ve surely screwed up this planet, haven’t we? We now live in a world of extremes weather-wise. Wether floods, drought, extreme heat or cold, mudslides, sinkholes, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, and on and on, there’s always someone somewhere who needs our prayers. And the location and dilemma changes faster than we can offer those prayers, it seems. I pray for everyone’s safety, but in particular for my friends here in the club.

David, I won’t pretend to understand how you come up with all your formulas, but ‘Sound of Silence’ is around 130k views after a week. I know the rate is bound to drop, but if it didn’t, it would reach 1m after less than two months at that rate. What’s your best off-the-cuff guess (don’t waste your time figuring it) when it may reach that mark? Under six months, maybe?

Member15/07/2021 at 22:01 in reply to: YouTube Milestones – Five to reach One Million soonI noticed “I’ll Follow the Sun” was at 999k Sunday , but forgot to check back until the song played during my surprise jukebox session this morning. One of my favorite videos, and you can just about feel the fatherly pride emanating from Rudolf’s face when he smiles at the camera! I’m unable to see exactly how many views when the count gets that high; just breaks it down to M’s and K’s. Does YouTube inform the one millionth viewer of the milestone, I wonder? I hope they notify the video’s originators, namely our beloved twins. Thank you much, Lynn, for all the work you do to keep us apprised of milestones like this one!

That’s awesome, Bill! I’ve heard others mention hearing our beloved twins on SiriusXM Beatles channel, but I’ve never been that lucky, even though that channel is on 99% of my in-car time. Also…tell Maddie I think her handmade bracelets were hands-down the best birthday gifts the twins received!

Thanks, Lisa! Regardless of how it got implemented, it’s just one more of those tiny things that make you two(or four)the wonderfully unique “YOUS” that we all love and admire!

The grooviest (and I dare venture proudest) Dad on the planet! Many thanks for your, your wife’s, and your offspring’s artistic gifts to us all! Bless you always, sir!

Thanks, guys! Lynn, I wish I were tech savvy enough to know how to circumvent the ban. I’d love to see the “Hotel California” vid, especially after the pics and description of their adventures making it! As for binge watching ” I’ll Follow…” that’ll be a pleasure! One of my faves, and I kinda do that anyway! ????

God bless you, Will! I’m sorry to hear of your physical maladies, but it’s very encouraging that you aren’t letting them get you down, and are improvising and making the best of your circumstances. Your attitude is inspiring, indeed! Keep on keepin’ on, My friend!

Aw, that’s a shame! I’m sorry you can’t at least get a peek of it via street view! Now I wish I hadn’t asked. I never want to cause any melancholy feelings for anyone, let alone someone who brings me and my folks such joy!
-
Thanks, David! That worked fine. Ashamed to say I never thought of trying a basic search. Shouldn’t have assumed the ban would cover all platforms. Just enjoyed the vid on my phone, and I’ll show it to my folks on the laptop later. Lynn, thanks for your advice, but I’m afraid the twins will have to reach 1m YouTube views without mine this time! David’s solution was just so easy!

Thanks, Lynn! Thanks, David! There’s still hope! I’ll try later tonight.
