Hi Jacki,
Glad to see your eyes are on the mend. I had cataract surgery a couple of years ago. Last month I had to have a laser procedure to remove fibrous buildup or something like that. I had some crazy floaters for a couple of days. I kept swatting imaginary flys. It did improve my vision, though, so it was worth all of the anxiety. The eye drop regiment after the initial surgery was maddening. At least now I know what to expect if the other eye ever needs care.
The drawing looks great. You still got it.

Hi Patrick,
It’s so heartwarming to hear how fans have connected with MLT in a very emotional way. They can truly bring light to anyone’s day.
I agree with you about Rudi. These mixes are fantastic. Although, I think Lisa and Mona are right there with him. Check out the backward guitar tracks on “Once Upon A Time”. I didn’t notice them at first, and then I listened with earbuds and they snuck up on me.
Have you found all of the rabbit holes here? The Out & About section is pretty kool. We love the sky diving video. They are regular dare devils.
Welcome to the club , you are just in time for the new album.

Nice thread, Jung. “Catch The Wind” is my favorite of these. The video is very sweet, but don’t forget to just listen without the video. Where’s Bill? These performances sound fantastic with earbuds.
It is amazing how good they sound with just guitars and a mic.

Joni’s quiet voice is so strong singing a song from another time. That has got to be such a thrill to be embraced by the world for ‘your’ song. Lisa and Mona are getting to know that feeling.
Joni is 79? I am thinking The MonaLisa Twins could sing “Still A Friend Of Mine” when they are 79. Let’s see, 79-28= 51 and that would be…carry the one…108 for me. Well a gypsy told me I would live to be 100, so maybe I will just shoot for the moon. Hmm, 64-28=36, 57+36=93, so when the MonaLisa Twins are 64, I hope they do another version of “When I’m 64”. That would still leave me seven years to rack up a gazillion views.
Mona’s harmonies are so kool. Earbuds are recommended. Their sound engineer really knows what he is doing. Mona’s blues harp sneaks in out of nowhere. I love how it fades in ever so slowly.

How ironic, I just saw this on twitter and came over here to see if anyone else saw it. I found myself waiting for Mona’s harmonies on the first listen. This song can make me a little misty, but this is on a whole different level.
I love Joni’s laughter. This is one of those moments in time to cherish forever.

Hi Bill,
I agree with you. Listening to MLT with earbuds is awesome. The separation between right and left really shines. I have noticed guitars being bounced back and forth along with vocals and other sound effects. Listen to the birthday-gift opening video. Mona left, Lisa right. I also love when their vocals are separated in a lot of their music.
You have a whole new world to listen to. Have you tried Orange with earbuds? It’s delicious! The Future sounds really kool. Check out the guitars on “Once Upon a Time”. Man, I think everything sounds better with earbuds. (almost everything)
Disclaimer: Earbuds are not recommended for use while driving. As tempting as it sounds, too many important sounds will not be heard. Beep beep beep beep yeah!

Jung, I love that other TV show featuring the twins in the yard singing about birds. Again, if I was the camera operator I would be fighting back tears just witnessing this performance. Uh, girls? Could you lean up against those trees and sing one of your songs? Wow, of course they can.
“Here I sit watching the sky”????

Two guitars, two voices, and the sun shines a little brighter when they begin. I imagine the camera operator and the sound engineer were brought to tears as they recorded this perfect moment in time.

Hi Alan
I hope you enjoy your time navigating through the site. There’s so much here to discover. I think it’s like watching a rock & roll dream unfold in real time.
Be sure to check out the Out & About section to see some of the band’s extra curricular activities. The skydiving video is super kool!

Hi Jurgen,
Rust Never Sleeps is a classic. Sugar Mountain holds a special part of me.
You can’t be twenty on Sugar Mountain though you’re thinking that you’re leaving there too soon You’re leaving there to soon This song paints a vivid picture of the county fair and growing up. And you’re underneath the stairs and you’re giving back some glares.
Cortez the Killer is a classic piece of rock&roll The women all were beautiful, the men stood straight and tall

So sorry to hear of Milo’s passing. Twenty years is a long life for a cat. I have had to take that last ride to the vet before. It’s not easy.
I have always thought outliving our pets helps us learn to deal with loss.
It sounds like Max and Milo lived happy lives, and that says a lot about their owners. I agree with Jurgen’s sentiment.
