Jung, I know what you mean about music triggering old memories. I remember that Enigma album. It brings back memories of a girl I was dating when that album came out. Memories I tucked away a long time ago.Ugh, thanks a lot. LOLI have specific memories that are triggered by songs and odors. Whenever I smell a campfire I am immediately taken back to a campground my family went to each summer when I was a kid. It’s weird, but kool. I had a lot of great adventures there. Wherever and whenever I smell a campfire these memories appear. As for songs, “Sailing” by Christopher Cross. I hear the opening of this song and I am swept away to age 16 sailing with my Dad on Lake George. It’s a thirty-two mile long lake in the Adirondack Mountains which are in northern New York. Some days we would just sit in the middle of the lake for hours waiting for a breeze and talk about everything or nothing. Another boat we would see a lot was named “Going Nowhere Fast”. That kind of summed it up.Well it’s It’s not far to back to sanityAt least it’s not for meIf the wind is right you can sail away and find serenityPeaceJP(Earbuds recommended)

Hi Keith,
Welcome, you will find a lot of kool stuff and lots of kool people here. If you just joined the club, enjoy some deep dives into all that the membership includes. There are Duo Sessions that are not available on utube. The Out & About section is kool.

Hey Tim
Welcome to the world of MLT. There is an amazing amount of music, videos and good vibes on this site. Have you checked out MonaLisa Twins play Beatles and more Volume 3? It is awesome.
I also recommend the Out and About section. The ladies went skydiving on their eighteenth birthday and made a kool video documenting it. The video has an awesome soundtrack, also.

Thanks for the tips, Don.

I watch a lot more YouTube since I got a big screen 4K. The video quality of the MLT videos is very sharp. I also like to put YouTube on autoplay. Gotta love modern technology. I know I sound like my father, but I can’t get over how many albums can fit on a phone.
The MonaLisa Twins are spreading simultaneous smiles all around the world. ????

We’re just two lost souls swimming in a fishbowl year after year
Running over the same old ground What have we found?

Geek away! I once heard that one should keep those little “dry” packets that you find in parcels and put them in your guitar case to keep the humidity down. Have you guys ever heard of this?

I liked your Christmas memories Jurgen. They sound magical. It reminded me of going to Grandma’s house at Christmas time. The twenty minute ride seemed like forever, but ended with overflowing plates of cookies. She handed her recipes down to my Mom, and Mom makes those cookies just like Grandma’s, or better. My Mom jokes with us that we need to give her a couple of days notice before a visit. That gives her time to bake cookies.
I love the Christmas album, especially Walking In The Air. It was a great addition to my skiing playlist last year. They are making snow at our local ski area this week, so I am looking forward to skiing with a well balanced MLT soundtrack. I really like their take on Santa Baby. And those purum pum pum pum harmonies are amazing, and Silent Night…yes, every song is full of that MonaLisa spirit that makes the heart grow warm.
I think the Christmas Spirit has awakened at the MLT Club.

Sounds like a party, Bill. My in-laws live across the street, so we are making a small feast for them. We are filled with joy, as our oldest son is home for the holiday. Our other son is stationed with the USAF in Florida. Unfortunately, we won’t see him in person, but thanks to modern technology we can share some time together digitally.
Hope you all have a wonderful day,
JP & Marlo

As a child of the 80’s, I can’t help but compare the Duo Sessions to MTV Unplugged. But these are a gazillion times better. I know technology has a little part in the improved quality, but these performances are up on another level.
It’s no surprise that everyone feels a connection to Count On Me. Once again Lisa and Mona have brought grown men to tears.
I was thinking about this running order:
Count On Me – Hope
Close To You – Love
Sweet Lorraine – Anger (revenge/murder)
All in good fun

There is a wealth of information here about The MonaLisa Twins, as well as a wealth of information about everything else – just ask. Lisa and Mona have assembled a fine collection of fans who are more than willing to share stats and stories about our favorite past time, music. Did I ever tell you about the time I slept on the sidewalk in line for Pink Floyd tickets? I think it was during March 1994. It was pretty uneventful. I had a warm sleeping bag and actually got a few hours of sleep. I did get tenth row on the floor. It was a kool show in June 1994 at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, NY. Wow I thought that was gonna be a better story. Wait a minute, that was 27 years ago? Wow Time flies.

Oh ya, the other day I got home from work to find a box by the front door. Marlo told me to put it in the spare room, and do not open it. It weighed about 30 pounds and I swear it smelled like an Orange. ????
