I’m kinda new here and I have to say that the MLT Club has so many kool people here that I felt welcome right away. Everyone is here for the love of great music. There are a few musicians here and there, too. We all know musicians are the koolest people.
There is a treasure hidden around every corner of this site. I am still finding new old stuff. Have you seen “She’s Leaving Home”? The ladies really shine on this one.

I love that play on words. It always sounds like we are talking about both sides of the album. If only, right?

Who wants to go for a ride?

Pumpkin has noticed a new arrival. I think she wants me to open it, so she can play with the box. The anticipation is killing me, I hope it lasts.

I agree, Jung, a whole new level. I am not really familiar with this song. I know it more as background music. This new version moves it to the top of my playlist. The girls‘ super clear singing sets the mood for this song, and breathes a new life Into it. I got a little misty with the first spin. It is perfect. I love the way the guitars just wrap around your ears and carry the lyrics. Oh wait, that’s true with every Duo Session. I can’t pick a favorite. Yes, I can.
The quality of theses recordings is superb, to say the least. The mix and the overall sound is better than CD’s I purchased from big label’s . I have purchased CD’s from “big label” artists before, only to find the sound quality to be flawed with over the top bass, or some other out-of-proportion sound anomaly. These discs currently reside in the black hole of my house where most other forever lost items go.
So a nice round of applause for the recording team. Bravo!
This new CD already has a reserved place in the rack for it. I feel like I am waiting for the Stork to bring this new CD home. Well now, the rack is for the case. The disc will obviously find a long-standing residence in my CD player.
Thanks so much to MLT for streaming this in the Jukebox. This site has a lot to offer. The IT team would be commended. They do a fine job keeping everything together.
I love knowing there is more new stuff around the corner, and look forward to its rollout. MLT has such clever marketing practices. I like the element of surprise on Fridays.
All is groovy here, now let me go see if those earbuds are done charging…One More Time

The neighbors will probably be hearing it soon, also. 😉

Thanks Jung Ro. That’s what I’m talking about. Very kool.
I love the emotional power music can have on you. Just the idea that a few notes played at a certain tempo can immediately lift you into waves of emotion. I can still remember seeing Amadeus when I was nineteen-ish and it struck me how beautiful it was that one man composed music for every instrument and he could pretty much hear it in his head as he created it. If you ever see me smiling during a symphony, that is probably what I am thinking about. One guy wrote all of this a long long time ago.
It’s so nice to see younger people like MLT enjoying this music. I hope that this music will be studied and played for generations to come.

I love all the comments from everyone. Yes, Jacki, emotional.
There are a lot of musicians posting here, which is really no surprise – birds of a feather.
I have been reading some posts about how certain scales can bring so much emotion to a song. This explains why I get so misty when I listen to classical music. Oh, and it happens more when I can see the musicians.
I remember watching a Beatles documentary and the host was showing how each chord change in “She’s leaving home” was a perfect match to the lyrical mood. Fascinating how that works.
Watching MLT perform perform “She’s Leaving” is jaw dropping awesome.Count On Me is my favorite Orange song today

Hey Don,
I live in the Northern Catskills about an hour south of Albany. I grew up a couple hours north of here, but the love of a beautiful women brought me down here.

Hi Don,
I am kind of a newbie here, too. I live in upstate New York.
There are a lot of treasures here. I hope you stumble upon the girl’s performance of She’s Leaving Home. This amazing performance really showcases the girl’s talent(s).
I could tell you where it is, but I thought it would be better if you stumble upon it. You will find plenty of other gems on your journey through the world of MLT

This is funny. A little while ago , like minutes, I was totally thinking about the last time I saw a phone booth. I log onto the forum and there is another post about remember when.My sons were with my wife and me at an older restaurant when we happened upon one of those phone booth benches. Remember the half bench by the wall? The pay phone was mounted on the wall with a faux desk and everything under it. The desk top was to write things down on paper. Omg weren’t we around before post-it’s?
The phone was gone, but the outline of it was still emblazoned into the wall.
The boys asked what that seat was. I told them it was a pay phone and they just smiled and shook their heads. It seemed as if they were gritting there teeth foreseeing a trip down memory lane with Dad.
I think the whole public phone system concept puzzles them.
Did I ever tell you about…
Memory Lane can be A slippery slope

Hi Kenneth, I am JP.
As I was reading your tips to train right and left hand coordination, I thought it sounded like surreal life tips. “For every left hand chord there is a rhythm to be applied to your right hand.”
I loved reading it and comparing your words to the rhythms of life.
After all, isn’t that what music is, the rhythms of life?
Thanks Kenneth!
