David -Three songs that come to mind. Were the hard ones to perform live. Which would be Paperback Writer, Day Tripper and even I’m A Loser. Oh and Rain.
But I am going with the following. For High end.
Arnold Schwarzenegger use this line in the first terminator.
Wait for it … John on – I’ll Be Back Line – I thought you would realize, That if I ran away from you. etc…
On the low end. John on Norwegian Wood – And when I awoke. I was alone. This bird has flown. etc.
Another song for both high and low would be Yes It Is – In this song John has a lot of lines high and low. Won’t list them but trust me. This by far captures the low and high of John’s voice. And in one song. Heck even the volume tone pedal on the song has highs and lows.

Hey Jung ,
Good interview, I myself put Pete in the top 5 as a song writer. My opinion.
Great interview on Brian Wilson. Love Pete talking about the melting pot of music in America and the world. When growing up I always felt sports and music made people get along and forget race, religion and what ever problems or issue we face.

Hey Jung, You are correct John song writing is second to none. His presentation also.
Glad you like the Kinks videos. What did you think of The Who’s – Early Morning Cold Taxi?

Great question Graham,
Things happen for a reason and I feel they still would have went their own ways.
I myself feel the course of what happened. Would still happen. George was becoming a great song writer and he only got to put maybe two songs on an album. John was taking a stance on issues and writing protest songs along with George being spiritual . Paul was doing his Love Songs and Ringo was being Ringo and having fun doing what he wanted to do in the end. Playing live music with his All Star Band.
So I still think they would have went their separate ways.
That’s me.

I agree with you on Money and What’d I Say. They are similar.

Hey Jung,
I learned something today from you about Barbara Ann. I always thought the Beach Boys wrote the song. But I see it was done by the Regent, Which I never heard this version. I like it.
As far as The Who. Keith Moon was a big, big fan of the Boys. I will say this my favorite two all time songs by them is Good Vibration and Barbara Ann. Wait and Slop John B. I hope that is correct as song title.
