In the Beatles session on Your Bird Can Sing.

Actually the Beatles again a first with twin guitar harmonies. Way before the Allman Brothers.

This was done by George and Paul.

Here are the songs I would remove. The count is ten,

I want to make myself clear. These are all fine songs. But I feel the remaining song were better. Now I’m sure people will disagree. Then tell me what ten or eight songs you would remove. It comes down to personal  choice. As stated  you are suppose to be George Martin making the tuff choices.

    1. Why Don’t We Do It In the Road

    2. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La- Da  – It’s a happy song but gone….

    3.  Wild Honey Pie

    4. Don’t Pass Me By   – Sorry Ringo

    5. Julia  –  I love the song, but should have been put on John’s solo album.

    6. Mother Nature’s Son – Sorry Paul solo album

    7. Long, Long, Long

    8. Honey Pie

    9.  Revolution 9

    10.  Good Night

    Good morning Jung,

I agree with you. But you have to look at it from George Martin perspective. He felt it should have been a single album. I know it’s hard. Due to the fact we are used to what’s on the album.

And in the end The Beatles prevailed and Martin gave in .

But there are songs that were not really good enough on the album. And could have been removed. I will list the songs I would take off later.
One of them would be Why Don’t We Do It In the Road. I like the song. Is it as good as say Blackbird? No

    Hey Jung,

I myself have been streaming a lot of concerts. I’m sort of hook on them now. I just watch one last night. A tribute to Tom Petty and his 70 Birthday. There were a lot of great artists. Dhani Harrison did a song. Olivia Harrison had a nice poem about Tom. They were really close friends. Performances by Stephen Stills, Roger McGuinn, Willie Nelson son Lukas, Jackson Browne, Jakob Dylan, Mike Campbell, Marty Stuart, Stevie Nicks and Gary Clark Jr. and Norah Jones. It was a great show and tribute.

I’ve have also seen Blackberry Smoke, Larkin Poe and Old Crow Medicine show. The prices are fair usually 20 to 25. Hey it help’s the musicians out in their time of need. I always tip the band. The industries is going through some tuff times. But these virtual concert are helping the cause.   The power of music is amazing. Is it not.

Actually MLT should do the same thing.

Hey Jung, Really enjoyed the info you compiled here. One thing I will say the picture of John’s piano. That piano has a lot of history. But it looks like it’s been through a war. Wow !

Paul’s 1926 green Eavestaff mini piano looked good. I like that shade of green. I saw a price for this one. I can imagine what the other would cost. Mozart, Beethoven ,Frédéric Chopin.
