Hey Jung, Most of them were banned on AM radio, a lot of them drug songs and protest songs.
That why FM came along. Then the music had more meaning and the songs were a lot longer than the average 3 min songs. Actually thanks God for FM. Glad you enjoyed them.

I did not see it on the video. I checked who wrote it. One don’t bet on it. It was Songwriters: Elliot Ingbar and Larry Wagner who wrote it . Sorry my friend.

Wow David,
Never heard this song by the Monkees. I see why it would be banned back then. It’s a lighter version of the Doors This is the End. Interesting. I like it. Did Mickey Dolenz write this too?

Thanks David for taking the time to look that up. I had no idea. I learned something today.
That’s always good. Thanks my friend.
You should listen to some of the cd’s or greatest hits by Blood,Sweat & Tears. Like I said I like David Clayton Thomas voice. Also the great Al Kooper, Steve Katz and Jim Fielder were in that band. If you get a chance check them out. You won’t regret it.

Also anything that was played on protest songs, racial relations, Vietnam and drugs on FM radio was pretty much banned on AM radio. There is a ton of music that pertains.
