Robert Johnson
Muddy Waters
Albert King
Elbow James etc…..
If it were not for the Blues there would be no Rock and Roll. The Blues is the father of Rock.
Jung my opinion get Kiss off that list. No just kidding. I myself was never a fan. To commercial for me and too much makeup. They should have been mime’s they would have sounded better. Oh that right. Mime’s don’t speak…
I will say Gene Simmons is a smart business man & worst bass player ever. And the guitarist I can’t think of his name is very talented as a painter.

Thanks for posting Thomas,
Jackson Browne did a nice version of this song. I enjoyed it.

Thanks for sharing David. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion. I always liked Dick Clark but never watched American Bandstand. I always considered it dance music show. Which I was not into.

Some many Great Acts. I remember buying a Jimi Hendrix and Otis Redding album back then.
One side was Hendrix and the other side Redding. Otis Redding gave the performance of his life. If I could go back in time to see an event. It would be Monterrey. Hell even George Harrison was there. Didn’t play though. I am glad I was able to go to the mother of the big concerts Woodstock. But boy I wish I could have attended the Monterrey. Thanks for finding this. I enjoyed it…..

That concert was in Atlanta, Georgia at the Tabernacle Theater in Malcom where they are from.
They did a dvd on that show. Which I have. A great show. Blackberry Smoke Homecoming Live in Atlanta Georgia
If you want to check it out here it is only the music not the visual.

This guy was spot on Jung. Letter handwriting has been thrown by the way side. It’s the same with the phones and social media. I myself refuse to text. If you need me than call me. It’s more personable. I rather have the human touch of talking than texting. I always say technology is good and bad. I’m probably old fashion I guess.
You just need to decide what is important to you and choose what side of the fence your on.
