Good morning David,
I know a lot of people don’t like his singing, I understand that. I like his singing. He sounds better than Yoko Ono please don’t sing. I know there was few songs on the album when John died. Dancing on Thin Ice. One think I will say artist like th Band, Bryds, Manford Mann and off course Hendrix did their version better than the originals.
Back to Robert Zimmerman he is the best song writer that ever was period. One of my favorite remake and I love the words to this song is The Mighty Quinn

I really love this group. They are great acoustic and electric. They are defiantly Southern Rock. And they tour like crazy. They been together 20 years now.
They have a little Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd and a dash of Petty in them.

Sleepy Jung, I know you are zzzz ing — To Answer your questions about Be Bob Deluxe.
They were a band in the early 70,s. They were ahead of their time. Bill Nelson the founder and writer and lead guitar. Everybody says this guitarist is great. Bill was and never got the credit.
He wrote is song called Honeymoon On Mars. Had this line in the song. Flash Gordon’s ghost will never die. I was hooked from that point. Not sure if you know who Flash Gordon was. The original actor was Buster Crabbe. Science Fiction. Here’s a sample you don’t have to watch the whole thing.

Hey of the top of my head, I knew it was a Farrow but had the wrong relation. So it was her sister. Well any who Lennon wrote the song because when all of the went on holiday to see the
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Prudence only came out twice the time she was there. Story goes the Yogi had the hots for her.. Just kidding.. Poor Ringo had to bring cans of Heinz pork and beans. He didn’t like the India food.
