Yes perhsps they could. Lanzarote I’m sure is a special place by now for the MLT given they kicked off their song writing efforts for Orange there back in 2016, and then interestingly returned there earlier this year to do one of their videos for a song off that album with the beauty and magnificence of Lanzarote as a back drop. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some influence of the beauty of Lanzarote in their next album which will have its song writing origins to their most recent trip there.

Holy smokes Roger and Mike! Your guitars are magnificent. Instruments are really works of art aren’t they. I remember when I got my Baldwin upright acoustic piano many years ago after trying to learn the piano on an electronic keyboard, I just fell in love with it. My baby mine back then, and I still have it, though it needs some serious tuning I think. It’s not a high end piano by any means in the grand scheme of things, but the craftsmanship and detail that went into every part of it, the woodwork, the steel strings, felt tipped hammers, sound board etc just always impresses me just as your wonderful guitars there do.

I had a look at Jackie Spencers sight and looks like some very nice tours and a must do thing when visiting Liverpool. And a bonus if you can catch Paul McCartney walking around like in that one picture! Thanks for that Lisa. Crossing that great pond to the east and seeing the UK and Liverpool in particular is a bucket list thing for me. So much history and rich culture there. And of course the biggest thing would be to catch one of your concerts in person one day!!!

David. How could I forget the Twilight Zone, and the Outer Limits. Really enjoyed the reruns. Seems there were plenty of great things to watch with just those 12 channels that were available back then. Today with 200 digital channels, I find there is nothing worth watching most of the time.

Mona, those guitar riffs from your Rick throughout the song just sounded supremely sweet. I’ve listened to that song quite a bit lately on Rubber Soul, but your version blew me away.

Whoa! That’s awesome Roger. You have an impressive looking set there. Thanks much! Those Strats hanging on the wall just look cool. Are the Godin triplets some of your faves in the collection?
Please do keep them coming. I’m sure others here including Mona and Lisa I’m sure would enjoy seeing your collection. ?

The Avengers was a classic. Really liked that one Howard.

I really like the guitar lead in on Close To You as well as on In It For Love. It sounds so rich and intimate and it’s great to learn that wonderful sound was made on your vintage Gretsch Tennessean. Thanks for that insight Lisa, and thanks Rick for that great question. That great Gretsch sound… George Harrison was a big fan of that sound too it seems. I’m learning something new here all the time.

There were a lot of great things from the 60s, in addition to the music. Aside from what’s been mentioned already, Gilligans Island was one that stood out for me as a kid. My mom didn’t like it as much and use to tease me I’d turn out like him if I watched it too much. ?

Thanks for that insight Tomas. Something another musician can really appreciate. I know watching Mona and Lisa perform, it looks so natural and effortless, but it’s certainly because of their incredible musical faculty.

..And really glad to have you here! A very warm welcome. Would love to see all your guitars together one day. 🙂

That’s a nice song Howard. First time hearing it and I like it. I could imagine the wonderful possibilities Mona and Lisa’s harmonies could do for this song.
