Hi Jacki, fabulous art.  How did you get the purple groovy?  Did you use ink and calligraphy pen?  I ask cause I dig pens, and I like to doodle with my flex fountain pens too.  Example below.

Thoughtful responses they always provide take time and Im perfectly fine waiting as long as it takes them.  Their music and video projects I think should take priority over anything else and they mentioned they’ve been busy working on some in the last newsletter.  My question submitted a few weeks ago is awaiting moderation too.

Hi Jota.  Thanks for sharing that.  Mona, Lisa and their music is very special indeed.  I believe  dreams do come true, just never stop dreaming.  All the best.

My fave Mona effect moment.  John Lennon and Ringo Star all rolled in one.  So much talent overflowing with anything Mona does like her breathtaking singing on Best Years of our Lives.

My fave Lisa moment.  Its not about speed or how many notes you can spew out a second but, its the feeling you can express that is the mark of greatness.  So much feeling in the way Lisa plays the guitar, not to mention the sublime singing too like in Little Drummer Boy.

Just slightly off topic, but curious.  On Time Of The Season, that part where the classical guitar come in instead of the synthesizer in the original, was that nylon strings used?  It sounds really beautiful.

Thanks Mike, Tommy.  Looks like many of us discovered MLT through one of their incredible covers and then discovered a massive glacier of wonderful music and talent just under the surface; their extensive youtube channel, awesome original and cover albums, a rich history and repertoire spanning 10 years, large and growing fanbase, MLT website, social media presence, recognition from many famous artists and well known radio/music personalities…..etc.

    Hi Howard, Mike

I guess for some of us who don’t like the bus, I should have asked the question differently.

My intent here was to more solicit a list from the MLT fans on what 10 MLT songs they would select if they were in a position to present MLT to an audience in hopes of growing some new fans.

Another way I thought of asking this question was if you won a contest on the BBC, NPR, or CBC (in Canada) where they would feature your fave band and play 10 of their songs nationally, what would you choose for the MonaLisa Twins.  Or if you were forced into a car pool with your 3 best friends to attend an all expense payed golf trip (NFL game etc), you wanted to convert them into MLT fan, what 10 songs would you include in your car stereo playlist on the 6 hours drive…..etc.

BTW Howard, we noticed your absence around here for a few days.  I figured you were just cruising the beautiful Australian outback on your Motto Guzzi California for a few days.  🙂

    Hi Mike

Like you I was never really into the social media stuff.  I spent enough time on the computer and internet for work in the office, the last thing I usually wanted to do was more computer time at home.  I joined Instagram and Twitter for the first time 2 years ago so I could follow Mona and Lisa and their musical journey more closely.  I created a FB account a few years earlier because someone told me I should but it sat idle for years, but it was MLT that really gave me interest to jump onto social media.  It’s been fun following MLT.

Thanks for your post and story on how you discovered MLT.  Enjoyed reading it.

Jacki.  About 2 years ago I did did a last minute Rocky Mountain 5 days bus tour (Vancover – Kamloops-Revelstoke-Lake Louise-Banff – Columbia Ice fields – back to Vancouver).  First time I’ve ever done a long bus tour.  While it was a fast paced whirlwind tour, it was a lot of fun and developed great comradery with fellow travellers.  I’d highly recommend this one.
