Yeah, handwriting is incredibly cool indeed!
I like what a professional calligrapher said about why she enjoys handwriting:
When I see a beautiful scenery, it’s beautiful to look at, but if I can ride a bike, ride a horse, hike, or row a boat in that scenery, then I feel like I am part of it, and I’m experiencing it.
When I come across a beautiful song, or a poem, that I really love, that I really love these words, by being able to write them out, I feel like I am part of the experience, and it allows me to be a part of that. I feel like I put a part of my humanity into those words, and feel and experience it for myself.I feel the same way.
WHY?, I’m just In It For Love

Hi Jurgen
Some songs that come to mind with remarkable drums or percussion would be Paul McCartney’s Let Em In. Love the solo marching band drum sounds. Another song with some iconic percussion is Queen’s “We Will Rock You”, while not drums but rather slapping and stomping, that unique persccusive beginning really makes that song.
Mona and Lisa’s “Songbird” has amazing drum work. Some really powerful and dynamic drum sounds. In the part leading up to the harpsichord at about 1:30 in, and along with the harpsichord, the drumming is quite spectacular, if you focus in on the drums, it sounds like firework, really fantastic. The drumming also provides the beating back ground for the bass, and together sounds so awesome. Really amazing musicianship. Mona does an incredible job with those drums on Songbird and throughout the entire album.

Beethoven, his life and music was all about triumph and overcoming fate and hardship. His music often contains immense pain and suffering that transforms through beauty into triumph and victory. His life is as inspiring as his music. His music is about defiance and overcoming adversity. I remember my mom use to tell me when she was a teenager, her father died, and the Korean War broke out, how she took refuge in Beethoven’s 5th Symphony. The power of music.

As Paul McCartney said of Bach, “just put a beat, behind it and it’s what we are doing”. The same can be said of Beethoven. Just put it on a fast guitar!

I’ve heard about ChatGTP on the news, but never seen it in practice until now, and I have to say I am totally impressed. It leaves Google search and SIRI in the dust.
I love the interpretation it deduced from the MLT lyrics, and I have to say I am 100% on board with Mona and Lisa’s take on the world issues as interpreted here by ChatGTP! Mona and Lisa are my heroes. As Mona and Lisa stated in some Q&A’s their music is meant for interpretation. Thanks for sharing this. 👍🙂

Hi Dave
I remember seeing a video of Tony Bennett’s performance. It was so touching.

Hi Jacki
Music is such a special thing, that can comfort and heal. I am glad music was there for your mom to comfort her.

Hi Christopher,
Lady Jane Beagle is looking so adorable there. All the very best to her with her surgery! I am sure she is feeling so much love from you right now, nothing could go wrong.

Hi Jeannette, glad you liked it. It is so raw, filled with amazing sweetness, gets right to the heart indeed. I can see that spot on top of the piano is a place her little dog loved to sit at to feel the love and sweet vibrations.

Wow a couple of sweet gems, really enjoyed these.
The early Pink Floyd songs are very 60ish gems, very different from what I am use to in their later 70s symphonic masterpieces. Quite an amazing progression.
