I am completely mesmerized with “Any Other Day” and “Why?”, and “Pretty Little Thing” is delightful! The music sends shivers, it’s so amazing!!! For this, definitely worth the 5 years, with song writing honed to masterpiece perfection, and audience expanded to 200K plus subs on youtube to experience Why? An album for the times. Perfect timing.

Hi Christopher. Thanks so much for the kind words. I wish you CD and Merch arrives very soon in time for your birthday, and what an awesome birthday present it will be.
Until the album is officially released, all I will say is it just keeps getting better one new song after another, what an amazing experience. Considering how awesome the 6 already released are, MLT keep impressing with every new song. You are all in for an incredible ride with “Why?”!

Oh those Studio Scribbles look and feel so awesome! The pens with velvety pouches, love em, and now I am off to listen to WHY!!! Will be hard to hold back my joyous enthusiasm until the album is officially pre-released at the Club. I’m so stoked!!! 😎🎶🎈💛❤

Hi Daryl, oh yeah..Elton John has some of the best ballads on the piano and his soaring vocals always gets me. I never heard this one before, but really enjoyed it. I like the key change at 3:30 into the song, gets really hauntingly beautiful like Diana mentioned. Really nice effect. Thanks for sharing it.
Wow, loved hearing about that 150 years old piano. From pianos to your guitars, you have some wonderful instruments. My post retirement passion is to get into piano, and playing music in general, guitar appeals to me too. I have a cheap Casio Previa digital piano right now I mess around on, and a 30 years old acoustic Baldwin upright in need of a serious tuning over at my parents/sisters place I plan on shipping over and using again.

Hi Daryl, I agree their Alone from 2007 is a musical masterpiece, right from the opening acoustic sweet guitar sounds to the singing, it is so beautiful. In fact I feel that 2007 live performance and the music they captured on the live album is absolutely stunning. Samba Pa Ti, Twist and Shout, Aufstehn, Aint’t No Sunshine, Wild World….so many. Love Lisa’s guitar on Samba Pa Ti (more expressive than Carlos Santana, seriously), and my drummer hero Mona on Twist and Shout (Ringo Starr, Keith Moon and Ginger Baker have nothing comparable to Mona’s stellar and dynamic performance here). Even though Mona and Lisa were so young when they did this, their naturally gifted talent shined, many of those songs I prefer over the original. When I first got that album, I use to sing “Wonderful Tonight” to my wife MJ while I played the track following Lisa’s singing. This from someone who never sings, I surprised MJ, and myself. I think though a refreshed Alone like in a Duo Session format would be great. We would have two magnificent performances.
