Lisa,
Many thanks for your response. Realizing that you and Mona are profoundly different performers than you were at age 14 when you sang “You Raise Me Up” with a local Austrian Brass Orchestra, I would echo Lynn’s comments in that was that performance recorded for possible viewing? I am also curious if you performed it in English or German.
As always, “Thanks for the Memories!”

This entire album was incredibly entertaining and I stand by my feeling is that it is the “Best Christmas Album in Decades.” Anytime an album can transport us to a wonderful place in time and bring back not one but several “Memories For Keeps” as well as a time when “It Felt Like the World Was So Right” from “All I Want Christmas to Be” is the essence of superb songwriting, brilliant performance and excellent arrangements.

Belated Birthday wishes for both of you with love and blessings for a wonderful, healthy and happy year ahead! Because of the lateness, I have attached a link for a Birthday wish from Sir Paul to you.
As always, Thanks for the Memories!

When I heard “All I Want Christmas to Be” I truly felt that this song is destined to be a Christmas Classic someday. This song brought back some wonderful Holiday memories for me and I especially enjoyed this:
Time wasn’t something to be measured with clocks
We’d only go home once wet to our socks
Somehow soup tasted better with rosy red cheeks
Those are the memories for keeps -
Hi John,
Thank you for your welcome and sharing your journey to and with the MLT Club. It does seem indeed seem like we have had similar journeys in getting here. I agree with everything you said about their recent Christmas Album. What a wonderful album with such a delightful upbeat kick butt Rock N Roll version of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” to the brilliantly done “Santa Baby.” I also loved the video of “Wonderful Christmastime” where the twins are having fun and getting a bit sassy-a good thing.
I totally agree that the original “All I Want Christmas to Be” is the best Christmas song I have ever heard. I believe it is destined to be a Christmas Classic. That is why I have called their Christmas Album the Best Christmas Album in Decades.
When one reflects briefly and looks at the beautiful voices, vast and considerable musical skill sets, hard working, humble, humorous and loving family combined with the loving and caring MLT Club, this is a great place to be! Thanks again.

Jung,
Thanks much for your warm welcome and kind words. I was sorry to hear you got caught in one of our Spring Colorado snow storms last year. Spring in Colorado is absolutely beautiful, but as you pointed out the weather can change quickly.
Being a former “Garage Band” (Rhythm and Bass) member, I have truly enjoyed your recent posts on guitars. I have found the posts very informative and helps greatly to understand which guitars the MLT are using and why. Thanks again.
