So much of the power of MLT’s original music comes from their masterful story telling. Many of their song lyrics are great poetry all by themselves, and so many show a maturity and wisdom way beyond their tender years. They are also incredibly creative and imaginative. When you add tremendous musical composition, harmony and flawless performance you have the phenomenal musical experiences we have come to know and love. Lisa, the last paragraph you wrote in response to this inquiry shows just how intelligent and capable you are of conveying your insight about life.

How about a musical variety show with music, comedy skits, special guests, interviews, etc…? This family would knock it out of the park completely. More fun than a whole herd of Lampi Bampi’s!!!

This is great! I am so glad the Twins did a proper Duo Session version of this tune, it is one of my all time favorites!

Mona and Lisa,
The passion you bring to everything you do with your lives is such an awesome inspiration to me and all of your devoted fans. God’s speed on your marathon. I hope you will be able to feel the love and enthusiastic support of all of us while you fight to overcome the many obstacles on your way to the finish line! You are our Champions! -
I have often told myself how incredible Mona and Lisa would be in acting roles. Then, a little while ago I actually got a chance to witness their thespian skills! I was seriously impressed!! They could easily write, direct, act in and produce a fantastic movie or TV show. Wow, I would truly love that!

Wow David, that really is some great insight and diagnosis on your part. I had forgotten how close together in time they were released, although I loved both songs. I never connected them until now. Speaking for myself, I have to believe that this really is a case of total coincidence given the completely different musical styles of the two bands, the different themes of the songs, and the fact that “I just need someone to love” is just a minor lyrical part of the Beatles composition overall. But you really found a gem here!
Hey Jung, you will have to remind me, I don’t remember the Borg!

Thanks Rudi! (I can’t believe you did this so fast!!!)

But, because they are such adventurers, I would love to take them up to the Salmon River and go on a wilderness rafting trip and do some fly fishing. I think they would love it and they certainly deserve a holiday because they are always working so hard!

Mona’s answer is as close as you’re ever going to get to a; “yes, we are” from these two! I can’t wait to hear it!!!

Hey, thanks for this Thomas! I have loved this guy forever.

I certainly wish you and Howard a very Merry Christmas despite your extreme climate conditions. Maybe you could both join me here in Idaho for Christmas? The early snow we received has melted and its been about 38 F, pretty nice actually!

This is so exciting I can’t wait. Its the best Christmas gift ever! I have never done this though and not sure how it works. Will we be able to see each other?

Ah, the “road not taken” question. Thanks for asking this Rick. What a sincere and well thought out response Lisa. Its a hard question for anyone to contemplate and, of course, impossible to really know.
All I want to say is how absolutely glad I am that you and Mona chose to do what you do. You are making such a positive difference in so many other people’s lives already it would be difficult to imagine what alternate path you may have taken that could have meant so much to so many people. And, you really are only getting started. Celebrity offers opportunities to pursue courses of action that would otherwise not be available to “mere mortals”!

That’s awesome Jim. I didn’t know that. Maybe you’ve already seen it but I watched a great music documentary a couple weeks back named “Once Were Brothers” about Robbie Robinson and The Band. It was a great follow up to watch after seeing “No Direction Home”, Martin Scorsese’s music documentary on Dylan.

Jung, I could not say it more perfectly than that. Thank you, and god bless Mona and Lisa.
