Yes Jung! I couldn’t agree with you more. And, as far as I can see, the answer to your question definitely appears to be “NO”!

The willingness of Mona and Lisa and the whole Wagner family to share so much of their lives with us is the reason they not only have captured our ears but also our hearts. They are all such amazing people in so many ways. It is a true blessing that we can feel like they are part of our own families and that we can also feel as if we were a part of their incredible family. What a true joy.

Lisa, your adaption of intertwined guitar leads on “Time Of The Season” remains not only my favorite of all your guitar work but one of my favorite guitar pieces of all time!  It is absolutely brilliant! I never tire of listening to it. It truly made your cover better than the original and that, of course, is saying a lot!

Lisa, you may very well have already heard of this You Tube site by Jake Lizzio. It’s called Signals Music Studio. If you haven’t -it’s worth checking out. I think he does a stellar job with modes, music theory and composition specifically for guitar. He is really easy to understand and very entertaining -even though he goes deep into the theory. He takes lots of his examples from popular music and shows how the songs fit into different modes and techniques that can then be applied to new compositions and playing styles.

Thanks for posting this Howard! I stumbled across this global movement on You Tube a couple months ago. It’s truly wonderful. Some of my favorites are their production of “The Weight” and “Listen to the Music”.

Yes JP!  Music that meets the; “Even though I’m back home I am not going to get out of the car until I finish listening to the music” test is very rare. MLT meets that test for me too!

“No More Worries Company” is a creative masterpiece. The way it sets the stage for the Orange album is perfect. The whole “themed” presentation of the album is wonderful and unique. This album belongs right up there on the list of the best albums ever.

Lisa, many gourmets have told me (although I do not cook myself) that you should always take a drink of the wine before putting it into the recipe. If you don’t like the way it tastes, then you shouldn’t cook with it. Maybe you can give it a try?

  • A morning without black coffee is like a day without the MonaLisa Twins; simply not an option.

Josh, thanks so much for sharing this story about Lola. No doubt it is true-life stories like this that must have the most profound positive effect of self worth on musicians such as Mona and Lisa. Best wishes to Lola and her family.

Yes, Lynn and Howard! I would love to see Rudi this October in a beer garden dressed in Lederhosen and spilling lots of beer as he sang along with the girls (Michaela included) to MLT songs! Cheers!

    Awesome flaming Duo Jet Jung!!!

IMHO:  “Count On Me” -No. This song is simply so beautiful both musically and lyrically that it defies any attempt at enhancement. “Club 27” -Yes, as a video showcasing their incredible performance of the song, but -No, insofar as telling the story. (You’re talking about real people here remember.)  “Sweet Lorraine” -Yes! Being a purely fictional story it could lend itself to lots of artistic license as a story video without any diminishment of the wonderful music. I have no doubt that, given they had the time, MLT could produce a truly amazing, creative, fun and professional video of this original song that may very well catch on fire and bring them more attention than anything they have yet done! Mona and Lisa need to star in the leading roles of course! Other than time, they need the money to produce this future gem. Any ideas?

Oh the irony of the magnificence of the human mind and its pathetic fragility. I often use the excuse that actually I’m a bloody genius, its just that I can’t remember…
