I don’t think I could haul it to a desert island but my Baby would have to be the old Estes pump organ I grew up with that has been in our family since it was built in Vermont in the 1870’s. Although I never really learned to play it properly I learned all my basic musical scales and chords on it and it sparked my interest in music as a child. I still have it and now that I am retired I am doing some minor restoration to it.

It seems that some bands get to be known as “live bands” and others as “studio bands”, but one of the things I absolutely love is that you can do both so well!!! I treasure your studio work because it showcases your musical mastery without compromise. It truly is sublime. But watching your “live performance” videos imparts so much fun and energy! I frankly would do almost anything to get to see you perform live. Dream -dream, dream, dream…

Lisa, your (and Mona’s) incredible artistic instincts have certainly been “spot on” throughout your careers so far. Even with such a large body of work to date I can honestly say I have never heard a song that MLT has done that I didn’t love. I don’t think I could say that about any other of my favorite groups over the years (and that’s a lot of years). I can hardly wait for your next album!

Thanks Jacki! Really enjoyed this. Your work is truly inspired!

Gosh Tommy, so sorry to hear of all the medical challenges you are having to face, but certainly glad that at least they are “calming down” a bit now. Keep taking that MLT medicine and I’m sure it will make things better!

I would like to offer my sincere best wishes and support for all of my fellow MLT fans who are experiencing grief from the loss of loved ones or the sorrow of enduring medical problems. Finding comfort and joy in inspiring music truly is great medicine for the soul. Its been many years since music has provided such fun, excitement and joy to me (courtesy of the Wagner family). I think Mona and Lisa are aware of the awesome power they hold to make such positive effects in the lives of their fans (and future fans). God bless them on their journey.

Rudi, I can’t thank you enough for the dedication and exhaustive work you do to make the wheels at team MLT keep turning. It truly is super-human. From talented musician to videographer to computer engineer -the list just keeps going, not to mention loving father (and husband). You are truly amazing. Thank You!

Well, everything you’re doing is working so please just keep on doing it! Can’t wait to hear your next project. Love you gals!

Thank you Tomas and Michael! Even if I never become a good player I love to just look at it. Thanks for the tip on the flat wound strings Tomas. I didn’t know they were available in the larger gauges. I am ordering some today.

Yes Jota. Thank you for sharing some of your dreams and best wishes for better health and attaining them. For me, Mona and Lisa certainly are a joyous and heartfelt feeling. Music is how they convey it. But somehow I think that even if they had chosen another medium -such as writing, theater or even sports, the beauty of their souls would most certainly emerge through their work. I am just so happy they chose music and that I can get to experience them in my life.

Well, I haven’t played guitar for 40 years and because of MLT’s tremendous inspiration I just went out and bought a brand new Gretsch G5422TG double cut-away hollow body for a new toy. I gave my Gibson acoustic to my musician son-in-law years ago. Of course its like starting completely over but I am having fun. I am thinking of replacing the strings that came with it with a little heavier gauge to feel a little more like my old acoustic cause I like to finger-pick it.

Yes Jacki! So looking forward to what MLT will come up with in 2019! I love your poster Tomas! You seem to have captured all of the ladies’ guitars here. Wow, I would love to have a real poster of this to hang up on my wall!

Yes! Great questions and replies! Thank you Lisa for sharing your feelings and personal insights as a performer. The difference for me between being a fan of the Beatles (which I was back in the day) and being a fan of MLT is that -not only do I love the music each group did/does, but (in the case of MLT) they have the courage to let me get to know them as individuals. Mona and Lisa are such warm, interesting, fun and incredibly talented people that getting to share their experiences makes me more than just a “fan”, it really makes me feel like part of their family -and what a wonderful family they all are!
