Member24/10/2018 at 23:17 in reply to: Should we only respond to posts here after the Twins have already responded?Omigosh, I TOTALLY agree with you Tim!!! I was just thinking the same thing, sir! I have been reading the responses in posts in my e-mail inbox. One guy asked what the Twins fave Beatles album is. I told him they have 2 tied for their fave, but that I would let them answer. He was asking MONA and LISA, and not any of us fans! He was not asking me! Common sense and good manners should be the order of the day here.
There are many MLT aficionados and historians here, and all are willing to share, myself included having “known” them for 2.5 years now. I don’t question anyone’s motives for answering “for” the Twins. But as you wisely have observed, this is “ASK THE MONALISA TWINS” and not “Ask Fellow Fans.” There might be people who want to monitor this day and night, just waiting to jump in and show their MLT knowledge. IMHO that is not fair to the questioner or the Twins.
If we seldom hear from Mona and Lisa here, then I may as well just go back to their FB fan club, because that is what this could turn into. None of us wants that to happen. As their manager and step-mum, Michaela might have to step in and help make some rules for this place. SHE can and will make policy! This place is brand spanking new! You did notice that there is a place for “Support & Improvement Suggestions” here in the Forum, right? That might be a good place to post this also.
GREAT QUESTION TIM!!! I am with you 100% on this one, buddy!

Member24/10/2018 at 23:29 in reply to: Should we only respond to posts here after the Twins have already responded? You are right; loud and long voices can tend to dominate and the two loudest voices here should be those of Mona and Lisa Wagner! That is why I am here and will pay $$ to stay here. I left a FB group, and don’t want this to mirror that place. (Not trying to diss that place; I met a lot of lovely people there with whom I have stayed in contact.) They have become my best FB friends and the common bond is our love of the MonaLisa Twins and their music.
I hope that no one here pretends like they are in the “MLT inner circle” when they are not. I know of only one person not related to the Wagner family who is a dear personal friend and confidante.
That is all from me in this thread. My 2 comments are my 2 cents worth. I’ll shut it and listen now; lol!

Ha ha; no worries Captain Itso! You know me; if nothing else I am enthusiastic, but not pushy. Lisa and Mona are well aware of my standing DNA offer to them and that it has no expiration date. I don’t need to keep re-offering it to them. The best point you made last night is that identical twins do not have to LOOK identical to BE identical. I guess I always thought they had to be the same height, etc. I really want to research that some more. LOL; last night reminded me of my old IFC days, as I stayed up until 2:00 am here. I told Lisa that I was not getting the e-mail notifications of follow-up replies. I checked and un-checked the box below, and that must have re-booted it or something. This morning I woke up to 19 e-mail notifications! Pretty cool I could read them all without opening every thread here. Now I just have to resist the urge to reply to or make a follow-up comment on every single one of them. If I do, then I am back to square one, sitting at my PC day and night and getting little else done; yikes!!! Really groovy that I am seeing more MLT fans that are as passionate as you and me, buddy! Have a great day!!!
P.S. This MLT CLUB is the coolest and GROOVIEST place on the Web, IMHO!!!

Now that you mention it, you are correct, Howard! I think the that 9-year old open mic performance may have been on their last website on a link in a tab called their “News Blog.” It began with 2007 and went to the present day. I got as far as 2014, and then joined the FB fan club called “Intergalactic” founded by Jacki Hopper of Canada. That kind of blunted my research on their website as I spent all my time at IFC. I stayed for 6 months, but then left because too many times I was up half the night. I’ll probably do that again here; yikes!!! One guy you’ll want to get to know is Christomir Rackov aka Itso from Ruse, Bulgaria. He met Mona and Lisa in one of their early gigs in Vienna and is one of their biggest, earliest, and most knowledgeable fans. He has become my best FB friend and has taught me a TON, not only about MLT, but about many European bands! GREAT GUY, he is!!! Itso can find about any archived performance of MLT! By the way, I want Lisa to know that my e-mail alerts are now coming through like gang-busters, lol!!!

Hello to Jung Roe! I have seen you all over the MLT Facebook page, but do not know if I have ever introduced myself. I’m MLT2 Michael, and it is nice to finally “meet” you!
I know the answer to your question, but I know that you wish to hear from Lisa or Mona themselves for the official answer. As of a couple years ago, they had two Beatles’ albums that were tied for their fave. One of them is also my fave Beatles’ album and it is in my TOP 5 ALBUMS of ALL-TIME along with the 2012 and 2017 MLT original albums and 2 by The Moody Blues from the early 70’s.
What do you think, Jung Roe? There is NO ONE to whom we can favorably compare to the MonaLisa Twins, eh? They are INCREDIBLE and AMAZING and every other superlative word we can come up with for them!!! <3 <3

NAMASTE SABA!!! Methinks you are about the “coolest kid” on the block here (along with Lisa and Mona, of course)! Ricky Ross and others think the world of you and your talents. We need millions more young people like yourself to become huge MLT fans and help them become world-famous! (There are a few million young folks in India, right, lol?)
This MLT CLUB is AWESOME, isn’t it? People from all over the place. As far as movies go, I know that Mona and Lisa love to laugh out loud. Therefore, I would recommend “The Princess Bride!” Have you seen it? One of my other faves is “A Beautiful Mind” with Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly. It is based on a true story and very, very compelling. It is the only movie that my wife and I have paid for to see twice in the movie theater, and we did so in the same week!
SO GLAD to see you here, SABA!!! I wonder if Team MLT will ever announce the attendance figures here, a few months after the paid subscriptions go into effect. You are so intelligent, you could probably come up with a logarithm to figure it out!!!

Hey Itso (or Itzo as Gert calls you, or Itso-Bitso as that girl once said)! Mona cracks me up, but ITSO RIGHT and ITSO KAY, because she is getting a bit older by now; LOL! Glad you are here buddy! You are still (a friend of mine) and the biggest and most knowledgeable MLT fan/historian I know. Maybe Michaela will put you on the MLT payroll as “Chief Foreign Correspondent!”

Hello Howard Bedwell! In reading your comments I can easily see what a huge MonaLisa Twins fan you also are, sir! When did you first “discover” MLT on YouTube? For me it was April 2, 2016, a red letter day in my life. I watched all their YT videos several times. I think there were about 90 back then. It got me almost completely away from TV at the time.
“Live in Concert Franzensdorf 2007 – MONALISA and Band” is an awesome concert double CD, isn’t it? IMHO it belongs in the collection of every true and loyal fan. (I had all 4 of Team MLT autograph it!) As far as your question about the missing videos on YT, I am 98.5% certain that all 24 songs were initially there, as I saw them all many times. I suspect that the reasons some were removed are fairly personal. I have come to know that all that Team MLT does is with precision, forethought, and careful planning. They are truly AMAZING, aren’t they???!!!

Count me in on that guys! I found out what an awesome musician Michaela is during the Franzensdorf concerts!

Lisa, you said that you cried after you publicly sang your song “Alone” when you were 13, because you didn’t think the song was very good, right? I hope I am remembering that correctly. Well, Christomir and I love that song! I have it as #18 on my MLT TOP 23 and he has it #17 on his. Now, 11 years later, would you and Mona ever consider producing a remake of “Alone?” That would be quite lovely and very groovy!

Thank you for your reply Lisa! I love this MLT CLUB that you and Mona and your parents have crafted, and I never plan to leave!
Yes, I’m not talking so much about tracing the Wagner family tree back generations and generations. That takes an enormous amount of time and dedicated effort. You simply can’t do that right now with your lives and careers. I am speaking of just a simple DNA test that shows the combined nations that produced your father and your birth mother. You and Mona would have the very same regions of course, but your % of DNA from each region might have a little variance. It all depends on the distribution of DNA that each parent contributed to each of you. The test is very easily and quick and takes about 5 minutes and a little saliva, and then you just mail it in and wait a few weeks for the result. They run about $70 or so, and if you and Mona want to do it, I would buy the kits as my gift to you. I would just want to spend $200 or less for the both of you and then ask you to publish the results here on your website. The invitation from me is open anytime you would want to do it. No hurries and no worries! If you do not wish to do it, Itso Right and Itso Kay; lol! Check out this site and let me know here or via e-mail if you have any questions. https://www.top10bestdnatesting.com/

Itso, as always, you make some great points here! You are making me re-think my stance on whether or not Mona and Lisa really ARE identical twins. It is high time I research this subject closer. So, are you suggesting that if Mona and Lisa have a simple DNA saliva test like Lenore and I had in 2016, it would shed much light on the subject? I think I will call my Ancestry DNA people in Utah and talk more with them about twins. The Mormons (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) are the world’s foremost collectors of genealogy (as you are well aware) and that includes family trees, and DNA sampling and testing. If there is still a definitive way to prove identical twins or not, that is REALLY GROOVY! It does not make perfect sense to me that the one and only chance to find out was with the placenta right after birth. I really do not understand that anyway. With technology and advancements in science, there must be other ways that are not very costly.
(See my offer to Lisa in my question that she responded to: “How far back has your ancestry been traced?” I made the same offer the last time I wrote them a snail mail “Please Mr. Postman” letter.)
Sleepy now; goodnight all! What a wonderful place this MLT CLUB is! Please don’t change the name of it, ladies! MLT CLUB is concise, meaningful, and PERFECT! And THAT is a reflection of everything that you and your parents, as TEAM MLT do! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hey there Sweet Lisa (not Sad Lisa)! You made the looonnnggg introduction easy with your questions. You know me well by now, that I am rarely SPEECHLESS, unless you and your kid sister make NEW MUSIC! I would have answered your kind reply much earlier, but for some reason, I am not getting the notices of replies via e-mail even though I have the box checked. These are not going to my spam folder either. I have received a couple notifications, but not many. I wonder what I am doing wrong? Probably because I am 2.5 years older than when we met. BTW, if you ever cease seeing me here or getting my subscription $$, it is likely I’m dead. Sorry; that is a bit morbid, but true dear.

Hiya yourself, Ms. Purple Canada Hopper! Long time; no talk to, young lady! So happy to re-connect with you! You probably gave Mona and Lisa the idea (or at least the impetus) to start this fan club with the Intergalactic! I found so many new (to me) great artists while I was there. I primarily credit (blame) Itso for that; lol! Coming here, I feel like I have returned home where I belong! I look forward to getting to know better all the Wagners here, but also to resume with the escapades of the Queen Purple Buzzzzzzerrrr!!!!! Ha ha!

Mona, you are TOO cute and I LOVE IT! You are as smart as you are cute! How did you know that about bats? Look what I just found on the Web:
“Did you know that there is only one mammal in the world that can fly? Many people think that flying squirrels, flying possums and colugos (flying lemurs, which actually aren’t even lemurs) can fly. But, the can’t. They can only glide for limited distances. The only mammal that is actually capable of powered flight is the bat.”
You and Lisa continually amaze me!!! How about a new song; “I Don’t Know Bats That Well” and the video filmed on location at a castle in Transylvania? Just sayin’
