    Hi Tennessee Ricky!

I just logged in with Facebook, and my Orange tabs just came back and I am able to reply to you here in the MLT CLUB.  Unless we hear back from Michaela or Mona or Lisa, I’ll just assume that my $13 monthly subscription will soon appear on my credit card from now on.  BTW, they have our CC #’s on file; at least mine.

Also, my 4 CD MLT bundle of musical joy is now on the way from Chicago to Omaha!  I have exercised patience and built the anticipation of listening to pB&m Volumes 2 & 3 for the first time on my own CDs!

(Editor’s note to Wagner family:  Please expect a brief e-mail or message here from MLT2 Michael as to how much he loves all your new covers!  He is already blown away that you decided to cover Cream’s “White Room” and can hardly wait to let his brother Tom hear it too!!!)

Whoa Lisa!  That one is certainly your color, but Mona would need a yellow one.  I see potential problems however.  What if you two book a Dual Nose Flute Concert and sell 2,000 tickets?  What if you and your little sis get bad colds the night before, and you have a very stuffed up nose and poor little Mona has post-nasal drip?  What then, dear?  Rudi and Michaela become last minute substitutes for you?  Or maybe Peter Whyte and his lovely bride?  Or do you fly in John Sebastian; John Sebastian himself, and Neil Young?  Best to have a “Plan B” in advance, eh?

  • I just want to add one more quarter farthing’s worth here, folks.  I feel a real jolt of positive energy here, and that is the way it should be in a place hosted by the lovely Wagner family, right?  Perchance we are on our best behavior because we know that Team MLT will read everything we say here, as opposed to other places online?

My 2.5 years following them seems like a lifetime, but in reality, I still am also a newbie, seeing as how the Twins “official” public career began in 2007 with the Franzensdorf concerts, more or less.  I truly delight to see so many newer and passionate fans here!  “Birds of a feather…”

With the algebraic progression of new fans being added daily, and themselves promoting the Twins to their family and friends, the MLT Invasion continues to march on, methinks.  I was 12 years old when Beatlemania hit the USA.  For me, my “discovery” of the MonaLisa Twins when I was a wee lad of 65 in April 2016 was way more exciting!  I feel like I have been in a dream on Cloud #9 #9 #9 since then!  If so, please don’t anyone wake me up!  Have a brilliant and groovy day, everyone!!!  MLT2Michael aka OmahaMike

  • Alrighty then Ms. Hipster Hopper!  I’ll go with either QPB or PPPPGG!

BTW, did you see that CPH joined here?  IMHO she is the Cat’s Meow and the Household Hippo Helper!  One might even say Carol is CPHHHH!

Can you teach me to put emojis here?  I can’t even do a single one!  Also, how do I mount my 2015 photo of My Sweet Lenore and me?  It took me about 3 months to get it on FB; lol!

Have a safe trip in New Zzzzland, eh?

Great question Steve and great answer Lisa!  I am learning so much more about you and Mona here!  I never knew much of what you just said.

I liked what you said about practise = progress!  That is so true, whether it be in music and other fine arts, painting, pottery, sports, etc.

We often here that practise = perfect as well, but that depends on who we emulate and what we practise.  I like the saying practise = permanent instead.  We could practise bad technique or errors, and those little synapses in our brains can developed the wrong pathways.  By emulating George Harrison and Mark Knopfler (of Dire Straits who were inducted into the 2018 Class of the R&R Hall of Fame along with The Moody Blues and 3 other bands),  you learned from masters and learn great technique!

So very true what you said about FUN too!  When we were little, my older sister Anne and I took piano lessons for 5 years.  By the time I reached about 10 years old, I shelved it for a few years.  By the time I was 16 to 18 and in high school, circa 1966-1969, they started making sheet music books of rock and pop stars.  That is when I really got turned on to piano.  I could sit down and play Beatles and more (Moody Blues, Bee Gees, etc) for hours on end!

  • I’ll add a quarter farthing to my 2 cents here:  I truly appreciate the guidance of Michaela and Lisa here, as well as the other two official Wagners.  This is without question the grooviest place to be in the entire world wide web, and the new main online home for me.

This past weekend, someone stole (cloned) the name of two dear personal friends of my wife and me on Facebook.  This evil troll made two toxic and weird comments to me on my most recent posts.  Fortunately, I recognized this as a scam and alerted my friends.  A few weeks ago I was going to inactivate FB entirely, but then decided to just keeping following Mona and Lisa there.  After all, the Twins are the ones who caused me to get on FB to begin with.

But now with this new and terrible experience on FB and all their other problems, I am not going to inactivate my account; I’m going to DELETE it once and for all!  So are my friends that were cloned.  With the dawn of this wonderful MLT CLUB, this entire website, and my e-mail notifications from MLT NEWS, I can continue to fully and safely follow these beautiful artists and their careers.

(My editor’s note:  Michael Triba will continue to use his own name here or that of MLT2 Michael.  He will resist the temptation to change his name to the VanGogh Twins.)

    Greetings Mr. Wagner!

I hope that you and your beautiful wife and daughters are having a lovely and groovy Sunday together!

I have “spoken” with Michaela, Mona, and Lisa via mail, e-mail, and social media many times over the past two and a half years.  I want to let you know that for me, this special MLT CLUB is the best thing ever!

You are the Founder and Captain of Team MLT and are super-busy steering this ship, which is gaining new passengers each and every day.  I knew that eventually you would appear here and that I could again express my appreciation directly to you.

Thank you so very much for being willing to share your daughters and their talents with the world.  Everything that you and your family do is “Top-Shelf” and “World-Class!”  The video of “Still A Friend Of Mine” is one of, if not the most beautiful productions I have ever seen on the Web.  I absolutely love your co-star role in this, and am blown away by your piano skills, the only instrument I play and love the most!

I intend to support and follow the careers of your daughters to the best of my abilities until they wish to take their lives in other directions, or until the day I expire.  I wish for all of you the best and the most happiness that this life has to offer.  May God bless all of you and all that you do.  Thank you for all the music and the joy.  I guess that is all about all I have to say for now, sir.

    With love and sincerity,

    MLT2 Michael

Very cool and groovy grandson Steve!  What a bright young man!  I look forward to him saying words like awesome, magnificent, terrific, and unparalleled!  Maybe he already does?

  • Sorry, Tricky Ricky, but I must ask:  Did you mean to say “groovified?”  Are you speaking of an orange grove or an ORANGE GROOVE?

No more worries and Itso Right and Itso Kay!  If Ms. Jacki can make up words and spellings, so can you; lol!

How does one put all those photos and emojis in here, anyway?  That is way above my pay grade!  And how about my photo with My Sweet Lenore?

Thanks Ricky!  Your photo is here now, and mine sometimes appears, and other time vanishes.  Carol CPH and I are wondering if photos appear if we sign in with Facebook.  I look forward to the reply from the Wagners.

The good news is that my new MLT CD’s are out for delivery today from Please Mr. Postman!  All the way from Liverpool, across the Big Pond, and to my home in Omaha!  Only Mona and Lisa and Team MLT could make something like that happen!!!

Lisa, over my entire lifetime of almost 68 years, and especially since 1963 or so, I have come to appreciate that sincere lyricists and songwriters write of things near and dear to their hearts.

“A good man (or woman) brings good out of the good treasure of his heart…for out of the heart’s abundance his (or her) mouth speaks.”  (Luke 6:45)

I cannot read your heart as to the type of woman that you are, but I can listen intently to what you are saying, and that gives me great insights about you, and endears you to me.  Many of the lyrics of you and your family are autobiographical, methinks.  We all know how tender and special that “The Wide, Wide Land” is to all of you.  Two and a half years have passed for me, and I am finally able to watch and listen to that video without crying every time.

“Count On Me,” my All-Time #1 MLT Song, is very, very special to me, my friend.  It is as though it was written for me.  Well, I know it was, because you love your fans, and have pleasing us in mind.  Your entire career is a “labor of love” and that shines through in your music.  That is why you are universally loved and adored, Lisa (and Mona).

Thanks Mona!  Yes, rankings are not easy and one constantly second-guesses oneself after the ranking is made public.  My rankings constantly need revision.  When I first heard “When We’re Together” it was fairly easy.  When you and Lisa introduced “Orange” it turned my world upside down.  Whenever you add a third album into the mix, it will take me weeks, and maybe months, to rank the entire discography of the sensation called the MonaLisa Twins!!!

By the way, I knew from Day 1, on April 2, 2016, that you and your Twin were “In It For Love!”  That is my All-Time #9 MLT song, based on lyrics, instrumentation, musicality, and performance.  It is no surprise to me that “All About Falling In Love” was my #1 song, until I heard “Count On Me!”

    Thanks Tennessee Ricky!

I know you are not making any of this up, because all the Wagner’s (at least all three lovely ladies) are reading this!

You just gave me insights to my #4, #15, #1, and #11 MonaLisa Twins songs, respectively.  (They are Itso’s #11, #4, #8, and #6 songs in that order.)

  • Works for me Jacki!  It will keep the name of my city it front of MLT!  I have too many nicknames for you though.  Can we stick with one, please?  “Queen Purple Buzz” or something else?  YOU tell ME, young lady!
