Not wanting to dwell on the point of my loss, but as they say, things happen, and a positive that can be taken from such a sad loss was that I threw myself back into my guitar playing( I used to play in a band in the 70s and 80s) and looking on you tube at bands I used to follow, and covers of tracks that I particularly like. The positive from this was discovering MLT. Watching Lisa play While my guitar gently weeps hit a spot with me and made me pick up my Les Paul and start to play again. Thank you Lisa !!

Member14/01/2019 at 22:22 in reply to: Is this where I ask fellow fans and not Mona and Lisa?Well I have pondered the question for a while regarding my top 10 and the only 3 that stay constant are
1. The Beatles
2. The Kinks
3. The Stones
THEN:-
At the moment
4. MLT
5. Cream
6. Emerson Lake and Palmer
7. Small Faces
8. John Mayall Bluesbreakers.
9. ELO
10. The Move.
Tomorrow this could all change as I believe that there was such a wealth of good music to choose from. M.L.T. in my opinion are right up there with the best.

I just thought I would offer my view. I have been a member since it first started and although I do not post regularly I religiously check in and read the new content. Sometimes we may not have time to contribute. Thanks to Mona and Lisa being so “approachable” and their willingness to interact with their followers, I cannot see support for the forum declining any time soon. Looking forward to more new material from them soon. Peace and love. Paul.

Hi Howard, thanks for the welcome.Been fans of MLT about two years now. My only regret is not discovering them sooner as I would have loved to have seen them play in the Cavern.

I agree. I’m not sure if there’s a scientific explanation but a foot tap really does keep timing on the mark. I’d love to have a drum kit around the place but think my neighbours would have something to say about that????Seeing Mona using this just made me think I could at least get an extra element into a recording.
