I got to see the Turtles once when they were the opening act for Fleetwood Mac in 1976, they were very good and doing any of their popular songs would be great to hear. Fleetwood Mac was just amazing at the time, it was when the all the members of that band were going through their breakups, it was the most intense and powerful I personally ever heard a band play.

I will just give my choice for the greatest song, Layla by Derek and the Dominos, and this is also my favorite album of all time as well.

I will say that I think Duane is the greatest slide player ever in a league of his own. So tragic he died so young in a motor cycle accident.

Yeah the 70s I believe really did happen. Was born in 1954 and was a teenager and 20s back then, best times and most fun in my life. Was a sound man for a band for several years and played percussion, a lot of partying and some hazy times that is for sure. I somehow managed to survive it, but have some great memories .

If we are talking bands that started in that era, I think the Who are as good as either one of them.

Member22/07/2019 at 15:46 in reply to: Always Happy MLT Chose to Forge Their Own PathThanks for the great post Tomas. Unfortunately the record companies are all about money and nothing else, they could care less about good music. I try to support talented artists like the twins that try to make it on their own. I try to post as many independent artists on my timeline as I can so people will listen them. Hopefully that will help them at least get some exposure. Anyone who reads this feel free to check them out, a lot of different styles of music im on facebook and my name is paul james rivenburgh on there.

My wife is in a nursing home suffering from lymphodemia and has the beginning of dementia and she is only 65 years old, its tough to handle at times but getting through it as best I can.

I think having an MLT franchise store in every town would be really cool. I keep getting asked about my MLT tee shirt every time ive worn it out somewhere. Got them some new fans from this shirt, hopefully my shirt will continue to bring them new fans.

Hi Mona,
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly, that was very sweet of you. I did finally find it, the only thing the link in the email would not open how ever many times I tried it. Just thought I would let you know. Gonna use that special discount real soon, thank you and Lisa so much for that.
