Thanks Lisa.  I agree that they must be aware of you and your music.  I’m sure if they’ve seen some of the totally incredible covers, they’d be floored!!!   Anyway, I’m looking forward to your next release… and I’ll continue to be an enormous fan of yours!!!

    I’m staying Groovy!

Just out of curiosity… wasn’t there supposed to be a link for those of us who pre-ordered to download the CD as soon as it was released?  Don’t get me wrong, I can’t want to receive mine… but I wish I could already be listening to it.  I need my Mona and Lisa fix!!!

I’m still waiting for my CD.  Being “Across the Pond,”  it takes a little longer!  As soon as they arrive though…. watch out…  Serious MLT blasting out of my car!!!

Joni Mitchell is so distinctive that I think it would be difficult to do many of her songs justice.  Counting Crows tried with Big Yellow Taxi, although it really didn’t work for me.  However, I DO think if anyone could, it would be MLT!!!

I love The Osmond’s!  I saw that performance, and they still got it!

I became steeped in BBC shows during the two years I lived in Christchurch New Zealand, including watching “Not the Nine O’Clock News.”  I also loved the BBC comedies, especially Blackadder and Faulty Towers!   Even better than Blackadder, Rowan Atkinson’s original Mr Bean series was shear comic genius… some of the absolutely funniest shows I’ve ever seen, on either side of the pond!!!

I also agree!  I’m a bit of an art lover, and occasionally paint in oils.  There’s some real beauty there!

Here’s a picture of my previous car – a Granite 2014 Dodge Charger R/T, also with the 5.7L Hemi.  I loved this car… but I really wanted the Challenger!

    Howdy all.

Sweet rides all!  Howard, my brother rides Triumphs.  He has a Tiger, while his wife rides a Bonneville.  My dream bike is a 1948-1953 Indian Chieftain, fully dressed!

Here’s a picture of my current car, a Knuckle White 2017 Dodge Challenger R/T.  5.7L Hemi rated at 375 HP and 405 ft-lb torque!  She’s a true hot rod, and I drive it like it is too!  I’m hoping to trade it in for a 2020 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack with the 6.4L Hemi in February.

To be fair, some of the early stuff with Brian Johnson was pretty good (Back in Black, etc.), But they sort of fell into a rut of sorts.  The songs started to all sound the same!  You’re right though about him being monotonous.

Part of the problem was (in my opinion) the drumming of Phil Rudd.  I never understood why he had anything more than a bass drum, snare and cymbals because he never used any of his mounted or floor toms… and every beat was basically the same!  Still, I do love the early stuff!!!

Elvis did a pretty respectable version of this song too… although I really love the Anne Murray version best!

I don’t know why they name Dreadnaught… because that name is more closely associated with an early “Heavy” British Battleship.  I think it’s because of the size of the body, which is very large and thick.  Anyway, they really project the sound!

I really like working with wood.  I’ve built several guitars over the years… some successful, some not.  The one I spoke of has been by-far my best.  I have another I designed and built about 20 years ago.  It has a solid mahogany body with a book-matched figured maple top.  I bound the body too.  I used a Mighty-Mite “Strat” neck and it’s set with epoxy.  For pickups, I used a set of Reflex Active pickups, but I really don’t like them.  Additionally, the guitar’s finish wasn’t the greatest, and got a little damaged by water when my basement flooded one year.  I’m going to disassemble it some day, refinish it and replace the pickups with something better.  Here’s a picture.  You can see the damage to the finish when it sat in the water.  Fortunately, the wood wasn’t damaged.
