Jacki is right, and there’s no easy way around it. The way around is to use third-party software capable of recording YouTube videos and then send the file itself or post it to a shared space such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or an FTP server. Note that this is also technically illegal, so I didn’t say to do it…I just said that’s the way around it. 😀

OK, we’ll go off the rails with something totally different. Careen was sort of a local supergroup, and this song sounds like a cross between The Cars and Cheap Trick, but it’s such brilliantly crafted pop-rock that it should have been huge. Unfortunately, the band threw in the towel right after this and the record never got distribution.

I’m usually good at seeing things like that, especially when someone points them out, but it took my several times before it really looked like a wolf. I mean, it was clear what you were seeing but it looked more to me like a ‘possum or something until I realized that the problem was that I was pausing it. When you just let it play the motion blur makes it look much more wolfy.

So many times that has happened, and many of those lost recordings are fantastic! I’m hoping that they all get stored in a vast library in heaven and we’ll have an eternity to enjoy them all.

OK, thanks! I didn’t realize we had all those options now. But that makes me wonder what exactly does the “subscribe” button do if all those settings are in effect regardless?
