Have you ever put on a hat, looked at yourself in the mirror and thought something was missing? Well, another hat was missing! I always leave the house with at least a couple ever since that video! 😉
But you’re right, we are all responsible for several different aspects of our creative endeavour which is what’s kept it so interesting over the years!
Thanks, we are glad you are enjoying Janitor Joe! It felt good putting out something original again and we can’t wait to share more soon!
Groovy greetings across the pond!

Hi Tim,
Sorry that it took us so long to reply to this! Thank you for saying “hi” and being here!
We love the photo, you look great, and so does the clock in the background!
We send you lots of groovy wishes and a big thank you,

Hi Melchior!
A big “hello/servus” from both of us, thanks for joining the MLT Club, fellow Austrian!
We love that the band Fanny brought you to our music! They did some great stuff and are still an inspiration to many.
You are right, we are enjoying what we are doing, on and off stage! 🙂 So we are extremely thankful for this community here who is making it possible for us to keep doing more of it.
Alles Liebe nach Oberösterreich and always stay groovy,
Mona & Lisa

Thanks Jeffery! It always feels great when another video reaches that number 🙂 “You Can’t Do That” is one of our favourite Beatles songs to play live so it makes us extra proud ♥

That is so sweet!! The package hasn’t arrived yet but there’s still a few days left. We’re counting the minutes 🙂

Hi Dale, that sounds like it’s going to be one heck of a show!
The reason we haven’t been touring over the last years is because we were prioritising other projects and right now want to focus on new original music. I think that once we want to make time for touring again, the added logistical challenge of touring with a full band vs as a duo wouldn’t be a reason to keep us from touring altogether.
Both would be an option for us but as a way to promote our original music, we would definitely prefer to play with other musicians to bring these songs alive on stage properly 🙂
Thanks for the venue suggestion though, we will look it up!

It should work now. On this occasion I also made the formatting button work again to format things in this reply text box.

Hi Tomas,
I could replicate the error.
Thanks for reporting. I try to fix it as soon as possible. -
Hi Rick,
I would say that all songs we have written over the years come from personal experience in one way or another. Sometimes in a more loose sense, sometimes through very personal experiences, sometimes through second hand experiences, sometimes by describing and amplifying a universal feeling or thought by putting it in fictitious storyform etc.
To talk about Sweet Lorraine in particular – sure, we’ve not been involved in a bloody murder love triangle but I think we can all relate to making stupid decisions because of “love” or witnessing others wreaking havoc in the name of it, haha.
The beauty of art and storytelling is that there are no rules. You can say what you want to say in whatever way suits the song. Blunt or poetic, real or fictitious, honest or satirical … to be able to express ourselves and share things we feel are interesting, or beneficial to be shared, is ultimately why we chose to pursue music and songwriting. It’s the most magical form of storytelling 🙂

Hi John!
No, we don’t live close to any of their houses but we’ve been to all of them a few times on various tours, either as visitors or “special guests”. It’s crazy to think how some regular old houses can turn into pilgrimage sites for Beatles fans all around the world just through the power of music. 🙂 -
Thanks Jeffery! Time flies! 🙂 I still remember how nervous we were. Little did we know we were going to play that stage 99 more times after.

We definitely prepared extra well for the Steve Harley tour ???? When we work in the studio, we hardly ever write down any notes on paper but when we prepare for a live show, we usually like to print out the lyrics or chords for the songs we’re working on at band rehearsal.
Mona is usually better in keeping them all in one place/binder.We only ever use the notes for rehearsal though. Other than a setlist, no piece of paper makes it onto the stage ????

Clairvoyant? Give us a few more days ????

Hi John,
We played a few more songs with Mike during his Liverpool visit that we also filmed/recorded. We’ve only cut together the one song that we posted shortly after his visit. We then dove straight into other projects so we haven’t really looked at the rest of the footage. Maybe we’ll get around to it in the future sometime.
There is one more music video we did with Mike, in case you haven’t seen it yet (it’s not on YouTube): https://test2.monalisa-twins.com/if-i-needed-someone-release/

Administrator25/05/2021 at 17:05 in reply to: The most dangerous thing you can do is play it safeAMEN! You’re a girl after our own heart 🙂 It sounds like you went on some wonderfully crazy adventures yourself.
There are so many things we’d still love to do and explore and experience. This musical journey in itself is the biggest adventure of it all for us and has allowed us to see and do things we couldn’t have dreamed of.It has also taught us that in order to experience the most meaningful moments, you have to put in a lot of work beforehand.
While there are a lot of intriguing adventures we’d love to embark on (travels, sport, exploration etc.) in the best-case scenario, they would somehow intertwine with our artistic/musical or life goals. Or at least don’t take away too much in the sense of time and commitment. Hence why we like to shoot music videos on our travels, write songs in other countries, see the world through touring etc. These kinds of adventures feel the most fulfilling!
But besides finishing the next album and all the musical adventures, like shooting and planning new videos, doing collaborations, learning new skills and instruments etc. travel in general is a big one on my adventure list, personally. Unfortunately, as we all know … that’s been made very difficult lately ???? But there is so much more I’d love to see of this amazing planet.
Fitness and the outdoors have become all the more important to us in recent years and have done wonders to our mental and physical well-being. So, after we’re done with Project Trail Marathon, we’ll have to pick a new crazy goal or sport to try out. Maybe we’ll keep sharing parts of these other aspects here in the Club 🙂
We hope you’ll get to do the zero-gravity flight soon. That sounds so exciting! It reminds me of one of my favourite music videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWGJA9i18Co
Thanks for the question!
Stay groovy and take … risks ♥
