Glad you like the new features. We will explain them in detail when we have a bit more time. The edit time for forum and activity stream posts is set to 7 days at the moment. I can make it longer but there is this problem that sometimes the replies don’t make sense anymore when the original post has changed too much.
The colored spots on the map are spots with higher density of members. If you click on them it zooms in and then you see the individual members.

Yes the membership should renew automatically as long as the original payment method is still valid. And I must say supporting the girls and working for our little groovy community is a lot of fun too 😉 -

Fortunately we could handle both and the site is back to speed now. The DDos attack is still going but since we blocked the most important IPs and installed some firewall defense it doesn’t have much impact anymore.

Both parcels already got dispatched so they are on their way to you right now. However, if you only pay the custom fees for one of the deliveries the other one will get sent back to us automatically. You can also keep both and give the extra CD and calendar to someone you know, perhaps it will make a nice Christmas gift for someone. 🙂
We are currently looking into the issue with the shopping cart. We heard of a case where it got emptied right after the purchase and got refilled again after some time, did that happen in your case? Or did the cart just stay filled after the order was completed? It might have something to do with caching or cookies and some wrong settings on our website so we’ll try to fix it asap. Papa Rudi is looking into it right now.

This was probably a temporary glitch. We currently work a lot on the website to make it faster and also to provide some innovative community features. But it still needs a lot of testing before we can release it. Most of it can be done on a test site but at some point we have to implement it on the real website and then anything that can go wrong usually does 😉

Thanks for reporting these quirks. We are having a completely new basis of this website that is a lot faster but as with everything new there is still a lot not working yet.
We’ll look into it as soon as possible. -
I forgot to also enable the menu for the new yearly plan. It should work now.

In case anyone is interested what happened I’ll give a short explanation:
In order to allow instant downloading of the MLT music archive for members who took the yearly membership I had to create a whole new membership plan. I forgot to enable the orange membership menu for that plan though. That’s why it didn’t appear for yearly members.
After enabling the menu for the new plan it should work now.

Why it took so long was the fact that the software had poor privacy features. Glad it improved over the months and now every member has granular control what part of his profile is visible to what audience.

Hi Maureen,
Thank you for your patience. We had the problem of our server getting slower and slower. It took as a few days to find out what the real problem was. While we are so glad we found it we also had the problem having to change a lot on our website to get rid of it.
Because of the release of our album we had lots of visitors on our website and we had to decide fast. We went all in for the new solution that made the website fast again but is a completely different system.
So I want to let you know that we still have to reconfigure a lot. Also the navigation because we use a completely new theme that will offer a lot more options in the future but has a quite different approach in some areas.
Hopefully you will see the website improve bit by bit over the next days and weeks.
