Thank you so much, Bill! We are glad and thankful that you are allowing our music to be part of your life and all its ups and downs. We really hope that this year will bring many many good things and that Maddie will continue to add so much sunshine to your life!
Thanks for leaving this message, we appreciate it ♥

Maybe very likely … 😉

Hi Ron!
We dispatched the gift calendars on December 29th (the post office probably processed them on January 1st or 2nd) so they are well on their way by now. Has yours arrived since you posted the question?
Annoyingly, we had quite a lot of delays with deliveries recently, and parcels sometimes take 4 or 5 times as long as they usually do. It’s frustrating but they usually all arrive eventually. Please give it a little longer but do get in touch should nothing have arrived by mid-February! -

Hi Andy,
Your CD should have definitely gotten signed, we apologise that it wasn’t and will send you a replacement tomorrow! It must have slipped through the cracks somehow!
And that is a very sweet idea to give away the duplicate CDs to the hospice shop. ♥

Hi Rick! We used to bring lots of different guitars to the Cavern when we first started playing there but over the two years we played there we really slimmed down the amount of gear we brought each time.
Once we figured out the songs that worked best and the kind of sound most suited for the Cavern, I figured that all I really needed was my Gretsch Duo Jet. No feedback issues, no swapping guitars, less hassle … plus nothing beats that Gretsch sound anyway 😉
So I adapted the few songs I would have otherwise played on an acoustic or nylon string guitar to work on my electric guitar, June being one of them.
Thanks, I also really love how it sounds like played on my Gretsch 🙂 -

I know, Christmas is long gone now, but I hope you saw the MLT Club wire a few weeks ago when we uploaded the chords for the song. In case you didn’t but want to already prepare for next year’s festivities, here is the link 😉 https://test2.monalisa-twins.com/mlt-club-lyrics-chords/
We hope your holidays were lovely and that you had a good start to 2021 already!
We send lots of hugs back and wish you all the best. -
The piano of guitars!! Certainly a wacky and cool looking instrument. Hats off to whoever decides to take on the journey of mastering this instrument 😉
I’ve never played on anything like that but of course it’d be fun to give it a try. Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of its tone, even from when the stick masters are playing. I prefer the sound of strings being plucked or strung rather than tapped.
But thanks for sharing the video and for reminding us of one of the more weird and wondrous string instruments out there! -
Hi Bill, We did indeed take a couple of days off over the holidays to relax and unwind a little. We put down the phones, didn’t look at the inboxes and just spent lots of time together, consciously not talking about upcoming projects for once.
We all love working on our goals, planning and constantly doing things but after a year as busy as 2020 was for us, we truly feel the benefits of recharging our batteries and making ourselves do a bit of “nothing” for a few days.
I got some new watercolours for Christmas so I tried those out, looked after my house plants, journalled about 2020 and we played some games and took some walks together.
That’s how we spent most of the days between Christmas and New Year and now we are ready to tackle 2021! I hope you also got to relax over the holidays!

Administrator12/01/2021 at 21:28 in reply to: Missing in the Juke Box: “Good Morning Starshine”Hi everyone,
We added the song as soon as we saw this post a few weeks ago but forgot to confirm it with a message here. So just to let you know – “Good Morning Starshine” has been added to the “Additional Recordings” player on the jukebox page.
Thanks for making us aware that it was missing!
Happy listening 🙂

Hi Rob,
We’re glad you liked the live stream – we had such a fun time with it! The live concert idea is definitely something we’ve been thinking about and we will see if we can incorporate one into our schedule at some point. No promises but it’s something in our pool of possible projects.
As far as I can remember, Nick & Simon have never entered my radar but I just listened to a few songs on Spotify and they’re sounding really nice! It’s just a shame I don’t speak Dutch! I’ll listen to some more in a bit but thanks for the recommendation. Simon & Garfunkel are not a bad influence! 😉
Have a groovy day!

I removed the additional formatting from your posts, pasted the raw text again and it works fine now. Posts are held for moderation if they contain lots of html code because that could be a potential security risk.

Hi Howard,
Is it that you compose your posts with an html editor and then paste it here?
I saw that there is too much html code included within your posts.
That can lead to problems.
First a lot of unnecessary code gets copied which produces something like huge fonts and second the video links won’t work.
I recommend using a text editor instead and pasting it without html tags.
The video links won’t work when posted as html links.
Pasting it in here as plain text just like you get it from your browser will do fine. -
Hi Kevin!

Thanks for that question! If you jump to minute 07:15 of this video you’ll hear us go on at length about our favourite acoustic guitars 🙂 It’s probably more entertaining to watch the video rather than me typing it out again but in short: Either my Epiphone j160e or one of the Custom Martin Acoustic guitars we are lucky enough to own!

Thanks for sharing your memories of Vienna with us and the Christmas wishes! We hope you enjoyed your holiday season and want to wish you a Happy New Year!
I’m not sure if we’ll ever get around to covering “Edelweis” but I appreciate the suggestion and it reminded me of a version by the von Trapp great grandkids: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEjLS0OHWnQ
The whole album that their version was recorded on, “Dream a little Dream”, is awesome if you are into that kind of music 🙂
It’s still funny to us how Sound Of Music is pretty much unknown in Austria, hardly anyone has seen the movie and we also only got introduced to it once we travelled to the US and watched it for the first time after moving to the UK.
Stay groovy!
