I can confirm that a new upload brings back the profile picture on iOS.
It is certainly not the final solution for that problem but more of a quick fix. -
What’s confirmed is that it only happens on Apple gear (iOS). I have to find out what exactly causes it and if a new upload would even help.

Hi David!
Thank you so much for joining the Club so soon after discovering our videos on YouTube and for all the kind and flattering words.
As your name twin David pointed out, it is great to see so many Canadians here in the Club. We have yet to meet a single unpleasant Canadian and would love to visit your country one day 🙂Mona and me hope you’ll have a wonderful time here at the Club and send groovy greetings!

Hi Tim,
Greetings from a not so sunny Liverpool (it’s nightime :-))!
Welcome to the family and thanks for being here. There is no need to thank us for covering the songs you grew up with. We’re the ones who are incredibly thankful that this amazing music exists, which was created before our time and which we can draw so much inspiration from!We hope you’ll enjoy your time here at the Club.
Stay groovy and see you around,
Lisa -
I see. It seems to be an IOS problem.

Hello Howard,
Hmmm, I can see all profile images.
You mean in the forum, right?
Would you mind sending me a screenshot of what you mean?

Hi Matt!
We loved reading that introduction, thanks for saying hi and giving us a glimpse into your past. Unfortunately we’ve never been to Sydney, but as Howard already mentioned, we lived 6 months in Adelaide back in 2009 during which we took some shorter trips to the Outback and Cairns (to see the Great Barrier Reef). Needless to say your country holds a soft spot in our hearts 😉
It sounds like you got around quite a bit in your youth which is fantastic! We’re extremely grateful and lucky to have had that fortune to some extent, too. It can really change your perspective on reality, even more so if you get to see those parts and cultures of the world that are very different from our western standards.
We hope you’re having a groovy day, say a big “Thank You” for you being here and send all the best down-under!

Hi Josh,
Yes, we have heard of the Analogues. There is a good chance we have even seen them live at some point as we played many, many Beatles Festivals with lots of Beatles cover bands over the years. From what we’ve seen of them on YouTube just now, they are doing a terrific job! They honour the Beatles’ music without the cheesy copying of their looks.Oddly enough, we aren’t really into Beatles Cover bands in general. Maybe because we’ve seen sooo many of them during our years of playing the Cavern Club and doing Beatles festivals ? But we get why they bring so much joy to so many people and really respect it if the Beatles’ music is being honoured and kept alive by great musicians.
Take care and lots of love to Cleveland ♥

As someone who is notoriously lazy about doing anything too complicated with my hair (Mona would always like me to try out different braids and updos and what not) I am now ecstatic about the fact that I seemed to have at least make this hairstyle LOOK complicated ;-D It really was super simple to do. I tied a ponytail, then braided a little section from that ponytail, wrapped it around the hairtie a few times and secured it with a few hair pins. If it would have taken longer than 10 minutes I probably wouldn’t have done it as I hate working with fidgety, slippery, long, tangly hair.
Maybe one day I’ll be able to have eight hair stylists doing it for me 😉 -
Hi Antonio, We uploaded the episode to a website called DailyMotion because YouTube didn’t like us using too much of one of the original audio clips. Legally speaking, we would have been allowed to do that but we didn’t want to go through the hassle of fighting the dispute or cutting out Lennon’s “Brrright”. We’ll try uploading the next episode straight to YouTube again.
Stay groovy,
Lisa -
Absolutely. Could not sleep, thought “why not fixing some bugs instead” 😉

Hi there,
Maybe first an explanation why we had to use Dailymotion and not YouTube this time. YouTube seems to become more and more trigger-happy in censoring content these days. Funny enough they recognized John Lennon’s brrright in “It’s only Love” of the “Rubber Soul” WOTT as original that has to be censored and let us choose if we want to delete the whole video or just that part from YouTube.
As we considered deleting John or the whole video a bad selection of choices we decided to find another video host. Vimeo did not work because of upload restrictions so we decided to use Dailymotion.
There we have it. I don’t know why they present it that way and we can’t do much about it. Is there anything particularly annoying about it or did you just wonder why it’s different than usual?

I just noticed the image uploads also don’t seem to work as they should. Will have a look at that too.
