Hi Howard,
On first glance in your profile it looks as it has been sent to you .
Then, strangely enough in the same software you don’t show up on the list of newsletter recipients. I’ve just sent it to you again. Please tell me if it worked now.
And could you please have a look in your Spam (Junk Mail) folder just to make sure it has not landed there ?

Hi John, I’m glad it arrived eventually, thanks for letting us know!
Quite frustratingly, there have been a lot of delays with international parcels in the last couple of months due to the global situation with lockdowns and work restrictions. Deliveries to the US for example are advertised by the postal service to take 7-10 business days but have often been taking much longer – some up to 2 months.
Thankfully, it seems like the situation is improving slightly, although a lot of international deliveries are still taking around a month to arrive. It is extremely rare that shipments actually get lost, so all we can do at this time is to please ask you to be patient.
We know it’s a lot to ask and we wish we didn’t have to keep you waiting for so long. We always ship off orders on the same day or next day of order completion – then all we can do is keep our fingers crossed that the postal service will handle everything quickly from there.
Unfortunately, we can only track orders that got sent with the shipping method “Tracked & Signed” which you can choose during checkout. Both shipping methods should take the same amount of time though, according to Royal Mail.
We are very happy to send off replacement parcels should it look like the shipment got lost, but in nearly all cases it’s only a matter of waiting a bit longer.
For reasons like this our CDs always come with a download version as well to keep you entertained in the meantime. If you can’t find the download links or for any other issues you might have you can always write to shop@monalisa-twins.com for questions regarding your orders.
Many thanks to you all for your patience. We are all hoping for improvements on that front soon!
Thanks,
Michaela -

Hi Jung!
What a sweet, touching story – thanks for sharing it with us! I wonder if he is still out there, playing and fighting the good fight.
Busking is such a unique experience and we made many precious memories because of it. We have also heard some incredible music by other buskers, they are very often a vibrant, quirky mix of people.
In our opinion, busking is perfect for getting over any sort of “stage fright” or anxiety connected to performing, especially when you are just starting out. Because no one is ever forced to pay attention to what you do, naturally only the people that enjoy the music will stop to listen, the rest will simply go on about their day.
It taught us how to be comfortable while playing early on.
We’ve busked in Austria, the USA, Ireland, Australia, Croatia and honestly can’t think of many negative experiences. Yes, there was the odd drunk over-excited guy here and there but those were far and few between.
As a whole, people have always been kind and we have learned a ton doing it. Not to mention the extra pocket money we were able to make in our teens 😉 In Adelaide I once bought a prom dress entirely with 1 and 2 dollar coins made from busking earlier on that day. It felt great, although I can only imagine what the cashier must have thought while counting stacks of coins, haha!
The last time we probably did it was in Liverpool, a short time after we had moved here. We played with a bassist called Jason for a short while who owned and played a double bass quite well, so we took advantage of that as you can use it in an acoustic setting 🙂
You asked us what we played while busking – pretty much exclusively covers, which was the “downside”. Anything that was well-known, attention grabbing and not too intricate because very often nuance and finesse fell to the wayside when we were playing in a busy mall entrance or noisy street corner. Lots of upbeat Beates covers and songs that would put a smile on people’s faces as they walked by.
Phew, that was a lot but I hope it answered all questions! It’s fun to reminisce about these times, so thanks for that 😉
All the best from us all to Canada!

Re: Donations
@John Behle
@Jung Roe
I updated the donation plugin. Hope it works now.Re: Switching the MLT Club Subscription to yearly
@John Behle
About half a year ago we changed the subscription from a single product to a variable product with monthly or yearly subscription plan.You cannot switch between these two product types but just within the variable product. We should have chosen the variable product type from the start even with just using one membership level but didn’t know better at that time. In order to being able to switch the membership subscription plans please just cancel the subscription and buy a new one.

Hi Howard! Yes, we filmed all those duo sessions and will release them in the Club in the weeks to come. We particularly enjoyed arranging Sweet Lorraine for a duo performance, lots of little details we could incorporate 🙂 Thanks for getting the album ♥

No deadline, you can keep submitting questions until we get around to filming the video 🙂 We will close the post then. With so much going on at the moment we haven’t found the time to sit down and film the Q&A but we will do it eventually! Thanks for submitting questions in the meantime ♥

Thanks, I’ll have a look.

Hi Josh,
I’m sorry for the late reply!Since the Lola video was not an MLT Club exclusive (only the audio was “Early-Access”) but went straight up on YouTube, it actually appeared under the official “News” section rather than in the MLT Club posts: https://test2.monalisa-twins.com/category/news/
But we now also added it to the “Early Access” Page, so that it is hopefully more convenient to access from within the MLT Club as well: https://test2.monalisa-twins.com/mlt-club-early-access/
We hope you’re well and happy!

Yes, we are testing a new more compact way to present single downloads in the shop and I forgot to set the test products on “private”. Thanks for pointing that out and preventing curious people to buy them 😉
-
I’m glad you like the restructuring of the MLT Club sections. Always trying to keep things neat and tidy 🙂
