Could you please try to post text or an image and use the alignment buttons to make sure it not only works here on my side? -

Administrator13/03/2020 at 12:20 in reply to: Alignment buttons in post editor produce code snippetsI think I found the reason why this happens and why I could not recreate the problem. It has to do with user roles. The “Align centre” function works only when logged in as administrator therefore we could not reproduce the error.
I still have to figure out a way to repair this but it is good to know as much at least. -
Hi Josh, We’re probably going to post another one in the middle of April. Lisa

Hi Jung,
We did have voice lessons for a while (in our teens) but back then we didn’t get much out of it so we stopped them after a few months. We found that the best way for us to improve was just by singing lots and lots rather than focusing too much on technique (though there is certainly a lot to learn there as well).
We never followed a practise regimen but have found that if we’re performing less (as we currently do) doing vocal exercises every other day helps us stay “in shape”.
Next time we go on tour, eg., we would dedicate a lot of time to build more stamina and avoid straining and over singing.
But at the moment we mainly sing for fun, when we record or practise songs and when we throw in the occasional singing lesson (often with the help of this lovely lady 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/user/verbalessons).Thanks ♥

Thanks Brian!
I tried to emulate the string part at that point in the song. If you listen back to the original there is the same run happening, just played by different instruments.
By throwing in little things like that I feel it makes the songs that little bit more interesting to listen to. Sometimes I listen to fingerstyle arrangements of songs to get some good ideas.
My fingers are quite long so that comes in handy for using my thumb on the low E string occasionally. I first started doing that when learning John Mayer’s “Why Georgia” as a teenager. He uses his thumb on the left hand a lot so I got used to doing that, too!
As always, thanks for the kindness!

Administrator11/03/2020 at 22:24 in reply to: Alignment buttons in post editor produce code snippetsThanks for doing this.
Could you do me another favor testing the other buttons of the editor if somewhere else also appears some strange code.
I cannot get that happen:
Centered text
image right
text left
At the moment I have not the slightest idea why I cannot recreate the problem.

Administrator11/03/2020 at 21:11 in reply to: Alignment buttons in post editor produce code snippetsThat is really a strange issue. I could not get that happen once and I played around for half an hour now with different browsers on different computers. Can you replicate the problem every time or does it appear randomly? Could you please give me some info about the computer/phone/tablet/OS/browser you are using when this problem appears?

Yes, we had a major update of our database where some strange things happened. Luckily they were just a temporary glitch.

Hi Dale,
Thanks for making me aware of the mistakes on the Club Wire archive page. We have fixed it and will take care to keep it up-to-date properly. After all, we’ve created it for that very reason you pointed out, so that Club members don’t need to collect emails and can always come back and re-read the Club newsletters.
Thanks for your help,

Administrator09/03/2020 at 16:54 in reply to: Alignment buttons in post editor produce code snippetsI tried to edit the post again and this time it worked.
You did not enter some html code in the post directly, right? -
This appears on topics where you have replied at least once.
If you hover with your mouse over the bubble you can see the explanation box.

Administrator14/03/2020 at 00:02 in reply to: Alignment buttons in post editor produce code snippetsThank you, I think I found it.
Was just one little box not checked that was different to the test site.
It should work now 🙂 -

The number of images and links in topics is not restricted but only one image per reply is possible.

It was also very easy to fix your post by just copying the text you posted, getting rid of the html code, re-pasting and centering it with the align center button.
It looks like html code was sneaking in somehow.
Can you describe how exactly you made these posts?
Do you write them in another program and then copy and paste it here?
My suspicion is that it is not clean text you are posting but text with some html formatting attached.
To really make sure posting clean text only you can copy it first into a text editor like Windows notepad before pasting it into the forum.Or do you use BB Codes?
This is actually not necessary because you can do it all with the graphical user interface above and I must admit I never tried to use the codes directly. I know that it says above “You can use BBCodes to format your content.” but it is meant through the buttons below.
