It seems like something went wrong with your post. It contained some strange code and when I tried to edit it it disappeared completely. Would you please try to post it again?
We did a major database update and had a few hiccups. We could fix most of them already but there might still be some irregularities that went unnoticed. Please continue to inform us about it. It really helps a lot 🙂

Hi Josh! That are two gorgeous songs. We’re suckers for jazzy, crooner-ish tunes. We haven’t covered very many of that sort so we might give one of them a go sometime 🙂
Our list or potential cover songs is getting longer by the day but we do appreciate the suggestions and will keep them in mind.
Best,
Lisa

Hi Brian, yes this only happens in the first verse and we quickly move from the D# to the D.
Nothing (Am) ever last for (D#) Ever (D) my oh my (G)
The harmonies are slightly different there too and the part doesn’t repeat again anywhere in the song.
Hope that helps ❤️

@Paul, We learnt English in high school (year 5 to 10) as part of the standard curriculum but our student exchange to Australia and the trips to the States really helped too. So did watching movies, YouTube etc. in English a lot 🙂
The article about language and dreams David posted was spot on!

Hi Tomás,
You’re right, what I wrote there is a little confusing as it sounds a bit like I’d put 9’s onto a guitar IF I was feeling lazy. And of course IF I was really feeling lazy I obviously wouldn’t want to change strings at all 😛
I think what I meant there was that I have a guitar sitting in my room, that I do a lot of noodling on that already has 9’s on, which makes it easier to play. So it might not sound the best (I maybe wouldn’t record with it) but it’s the most comfortable to play.I remember doing the switch to 10’s for live shows and everything felt that bit more difficult but the tone was worth it to me. Everything just had a little bit more oomph.
But you’re right, 90% is about how and what you play anyway. I think the “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” was still played on a lighter gage and yes, I think I must have been around 16. I think my tone has improved/changed a lot since then but mainly due to the way I play. Some people are VERY particular about their string gage and type and pickups and picks and the way they file their fingernails and how many times they wash their hands and what moisturizer they use and and and. For me the guitar just has to feel nice, sound good and if the strings start resembling old fence wires, I guess I’ll change them 😉
I hope you’ll manage to make friends with your 10’s and if not, I don’t think there is anything wrong with using a lighter gage if that allows you to play better. I’m 100% with you on the flatwounds on bass!! (Dad thinks that roundwounds on a Höfner 500/1 are a sin and might be also illegal in some countries ;-))
Thank you for the question!
I hope you’re doing great and all is well and groovy 🙂

Hey cool! This is a huge aspect of our video/photo interests and workflow that we don’t really get to talk about much. Thanks for the question! Simple answer – there is no simple answer 😛
We use everything from expensive prime lenses and the standard kit lens for both video and photo. With the recent videos we have moved more towards zoom lenses again, for the sake of an easier workflow, not focusing too much on achieving the shallowest depth of field possible. Because there was a time where you could say we might have overdone that a little bit (like with “Morning Has Broken”) where we ended up with a depth of field of about two eyelashes ?
We shoot with a Sony a7 iii and also use a lot of Sony lenses, especially while filming. Their autofocus has actually become decent these days 😉 The ones we shoot with most often are the 28-70mm (f/3.5-5.6) perfectly fine kit lens, a 16-35mm (f/4) great for smooth wide angle gimbal shots, and a 85mm (f/1.8) prime lens for close-ups and a shallow depth of field. If I had to pick just one lens for photography I’d go with a 50mm 🙂
Dad always takes care of the video side of things, is always up to date with the latest gimbal, drone and camera developments. He’s always working on his rig and figuring out which lenses, microphones, etc. are most suited for his latest contraptions. He could probably start his own YouTube channel just about cameras and how to get the most out of your equipment 🙂
And we definitely agree with you on manual over autofocus. The new Sony cameras have become more reliable but whenever we can we also avoid autofocus!

Thanks Paul!
We’ll see … At the moment I like it a little longer. Surely ,if I eat enough carrots and spinach I’ll catch up to Lisa, right? Wait what …
At the moment I enjoy being able to do things with it, like braid or curl it. It’s always easy to cut it off again so I’ll see how I’m getting on, or whether I feel tempted to reach for the scissors again.

Thanks Sergey!
Yup, the little dot is just a birthmark I’ve always had. The reason it appears to be on both sides of my face in the “Till There Was You” video is because we flipped (mirrored) the image sometimes to get a nicer frame composition. I didn’t think much about it but you are right, the dot gives it away 😉

Hi Andreas! Willkommen im Club!
I hope you don’t mind me answering in English so everyone here can understand 🙂
Thanks for the introduction and the kind words! We hope you’ll enjoy your last days in the Club.
We’re glad that you stumbled across our videos on YouTube and hope you already found all the bonus ones here in the Club. We’ll post another one tomorrow 🙂If you’ve got any questions, let us know!
Alles Liebe nach Deutschland,

Hi Tore,
We get that question a lot and we always appreciate people wanting to see us in concert. We will definitely get back on stage eventually but as you rightly assumed, it’s the new projects like the new album, videos (originals and covers), the Club, etc. that are currently taking up all our time.
If we want to tour again we want to make it the best tour possible and give it all the attention and preparation time it deserves. With everything else we want to accomplish in 2020, a tour is quite impossible to fit in but we will keep you all updated on any live shows we are planning in the future.
Thanks for all the kind words and we hope to see you at a gig some day!

Administrator20/02/2020 at 23:42 in reply to: What songs out there in Song Infinity World moves you the most and/or funny?!Well, the last song that made me cry was “Wish You Were Here” (Pink Floyd). After reading up on its origins I wept like a little kid. So that would be a song that moved me recently.
A peculiar, quirky song that recently made me chuckle was “The Intro and the Outro” by The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. Odd and delightful!

Looking at numbers and our online statistics is still really surreal sometimes. Our whole journey has been a very gradual build-up where with every year and every new project, video or CD more and more people from all across the globe started tuning in. It was (and still is) so exciting to see!
Thanks to the internet and the way people listen to music these days, location really isn’t a factor. It was of course always something we hoped would happen, but our 13 year old selves would be more than gobsmacked if they knew people from every corner of the world would one day watch their videos. 🙂

Hi Bob, nice to meet you!
Welcome to the Club and thanks for that great introduction – we love getting to know a bit about the people who listen to our creations 🙂We hope you’ve enjoyed your time here so far. If you need help with anything, please let us know.
Stay groovy!!

I am very much almost sure I heard that Sir Paul got his Most Noble Order of the Garter (a.k.a. MBO) because of only using flatwound strings on his Höfner. The Queen I’m almost pretty sure would not tolerate anything else anyway.
