Thanks Stephen, we’re glad you like it!

Normally we don’t offer the individual cover songs for download until we release them on a CD (like on our “MLT play Beatles & more” compilation albums). I’m sure that there will be a future cover album with “Starman” on it, but this might take a while as we plan to release an original album next.

To bridge the waiting time, however, we’ve just created another new Jukebox player in the MLT Club – called “Additional Recordings” – for the latest YouTube songs that aren’t released on an album yet. They’re only four songs for now but we’ll add all the new ones automatically as they come out.

That is amazing! We’re so glad that our music helps you through the tough days and that it might be helping your patients, too ♥
We’d love to come to the States again. We’ll spend most of 2020 working on a new original album and various other studio and video projects, so we’ll continue to put playing live shows on the back burner for now. But we’ll definitely be announcing any touring plans in the Club first and hopefully make it back to the States in the future.

Much peace & love to Cleveland!

    Hi Michael,

“Junk” has been on our “cover-wishlist” for a while now. It is one of those PERFECT songs. We love it to bits! Maybe we’ll get around to it one day. Thanks for bringing it up again, I’ll have that song flowing through my mind for the next few days now 🙂

    Hi Mike!

A pilot dad with twin daughters? Dad, is that you? Haha!

Our dad nearly became a pilot, too. He went to aerial engineering school but as it turned out he was more interested in building planes than flying them … and then changed plans and ended up building a recording studio instead. (It’s a long story, but we’re glad he did :-))

These days he is funneling his love for flying things into our video productions … hence the many drone shots 😉

Anyway, a super big welcome to the MLT Club, thanks for sharing a bit of your life with us and saying hi!

Definitely keep an eye out for live dates when you come visit the UK next time. It would be great to see you and the twins at a show one day.

Groovy greetings to your whole family!

    🙂

26/01/2020 at 22:09 in reply to: Question About Lisa’s Red Hair

    Hi Michael,

I haven’t really seen much of my natural hair color since I was hmmm … 14 I think? I could trace back the “red” origins to when we were about 12 and both got to dye a little streak of hair after a particular good report card I believe. Part of it was to help our teachers at school be able to tell us apart more easily. If you watch this video and stop at 2:04 you can tell what colour each of us picked 😉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRZTW2iMkD0

The beginning of Mona – blonde, Lisa – red. From then you could say it got a bit out of hand 😛

I’ve been playing around with different shades etc and recently got back to a bit more of a darker, natural look. Who knows what will come next. As to my reasoning behind choosing red – Nothing besides that I simply like how it looks 🙂

You guys got me thinking about the usability of the user profile or “my account” page and I must admit it is not the most logical layout I have ever seen. There are 3 places where you can change password and also the names of the tabs are not very clear.

Unfortunately this is a default setting and the tab symbols and the content of the tabs is not so easy to change. For the moment I renamed the shop tab to “my account” because “shop/membership” would be  too long. Hope that helps until we find a better solution.

    Hey John,
It’s nice to welcome you ON Australia Day! There are quite a few Australians here in the Club, some more active in the forum than others, but each day we have quite a lot of website hits from your side of the planet. Oi oi oi! 🙂
We loved the time we spent in Adelaide for student exchange. So many great people, great community, great scenery. What’s going on with the fires is harrowing!! We hope all your friends and family are safe ♥

Thanks for all the kind words and we hope you’ll enjoy your time here in the Club.

    Stay groovy!

Welcome Bob and thanks for joining us here! Glad you like our “Beatles & more” albums that much! We are focusing on new original music in 2020 but will definitely keep on recording covers too. So you can expect more releases and CDs to come 🙂

Haha, what a great Woodstock story. Of course you’d be upset that they made it free after charging you. Funny how the whole meaning and mythos of the festival only grows with each passing year. I see you already found our blog post about it! 😉 Thanks for sharing the picture of your ticket. What a piece of history!

We hope you’ll enjoy your time here at the Club ♥
    See you around,

    Hi Faiz!

Thanks for stopping by and saying hi. YouTube has brought many of the MLT Club members here – welcome to the MLT family! 🙂

We are lucky to live in a time where we can use things like YT to connect with people all over the world … from Iceland to Guyana! Groovy greetings from Liverpool!

25/01/2020 at 19:40 in reply to: Gretsch electric guitar question

Oh, that’s one and the same guitar 🙂 What might be a bit confusing is that I play it without the pickguard attached – the grey-ish piece of plastic right below the pick-ups. I think it looks cool without, so I removed it, which probably made you think it was a different guitar.

And to confuse you even more … I recently thought about putting it back on 😉

We do have other Gretsches … a vintage Tennessean that I only play in the studio and a black Country Gentleman that I played in the “Snow Falls Softly At Night” video for example. It has a beautiful, rich and mellow tone, lots of character too but it’s a bit of a chunky build for me to use as my “everyday” guitar. Which is why I think my Duo Jet is so perfect. It ticks all the boxes!

Thanks for the question and I hope I solved a mystery here 🙂

25/01/2020 at 19:30 in reply to: Ringtones? I like it when the phone rings now……

I remember we did think about that at some point but came to the conclusion that since you can select any song you want as your ringtone on most phones these days, there wasn’t much we could offer extra.

But we could pick out and cut together the best suited parts of songs, provide some instructions on how to set it up, etc. … yeah, we’ll put it on our “possible projects” list!

Oh, and what a cool story about Lindsey Stirling’s producer! Hope they enjoyed the CD ♥
Thanks for spreading the word … one phone call at a time 😉

    Hi Brian,
Never owned a Jaguar and never had the chance to try one either, unfortunately. It seems like a perfect guitar to get that surf sound, especially with that high-pass filter switch so I can see why you like yours so much. I’d love to try one but I’m scared that if I tried and loved one, I might try, love and buy one 😉 … I am very happy with the guitar collection we have but it might be a fun one to add to the collection later down the line 🙂

21/01/2020 at 00:45 in reply to: Daydream ending

“Especially for someone like me who’s not the world’s best whistler.” – Same here 😉

Which is exactly why we decided to change up the ending a bit. It’s been a while since we came up with that arrangement but I don’t think it’s an ending we’ve ever heard somewhere else. It was just a way to get around the whistling part 😉

We did give our best whistle attempt in the outro of “Two Of Us” but even there you can hear us give up at the very end: youtube.com/watch?v=MRZTW2iMkD0 … Not our strongest point!
