This is pretty much exactly what we are planning to do.
For now we just made two different kind of audio players – one for the website and one for mobile devices. When the screen gets smaller it switches automatically from the website to the mobile player. But something like an MLT-App is definitely on our road map. -
We knew from the start that we wanted to do a Zombies song, even before we decided to release the new albums and we thought “Time Of The Season” was a perfect one to try since we always LOVED the arrangement. Still tempted to do something off Odessey and Oracle but first it’s time for more originals.
I also just checked out People’s version of “I Love You” for the first time. It’s great!

Hi Tim! Whenever we’ve made big decisions like the ones you mentioned (dropping out of school, moving to England, quitting Cavern etc.) it was always the obvious next thing to do (for the 4 of us). We’re all so tuned into what we’re trying to do here that we don’t really have to convince each other to make bold steps. Dad and Michaela have taught us and lived by that ever since we can imagine. They were never “conventional” people and from the moment we decided to create “MonaLisa Twins” as a family, everyone put their heart and soul into it. So every “bold” decision in the past seemed like the right thing to do for all of us. Believe me when I say that they were the first to bring up many of the craziest (but in the end most worthwhile) ideas haha. To say we’re lucky to have parents and friends like that is an understatement 😉

I never quite know how to answer that question. That’s what parents must feel like when they get asked who their favourite child is (although I think in the case of our family it is quite clear that I am the favourite, but that’s an exception ;-)).
I usually say John or George but to be honest they have all been my pick at one point in time so it always changes. -
Love some of Badfinger’s music! We first became aware of them when watching the movie “The Magic Christian” (with John Cleese, Peter Sellers and Ringo Starr). During the “Money scene” we heard this song “Come and Get It” and thought it sounded an awful lot like a Beatles song! Only later did we find out that Paul McCartney actually wrote it! 🙂
If we ever gave one of their songs a go, I’d probably pick something off their Debut Album but thanks for introducing me to “Baby Blue”. Great harmonies, like on so many of their tracks!

First of all thanks for ordering the two new albums! And yes, a Christmas record is definitely something we’ve thought about but there won’t be time to record and release a full album this year. We do have something really cool (hopefully!) planned for the holiday season though, especially for everyone in the MLT Club, so keep an eye out for that announcement! 😉

We have hard disks full of old stuff like that, that we’d love to do something with one day 🙂 At least the MLT Club now gives us an excuse to dig through the archives a bit more. Would be fun to find the earliest performance ever! Bear with us as we will dig out more and more fun stuff from the past to share with everyone here 🙂

Pheeew, that was so long ago. It was definitely the first song we ever finished that had a “proper” beginning and end. I remember writing songs before but as far as I can recall, they all didn’t really follow any real … structure haha. So we went from one “part” to the next without ever repeating anything 😉 Guess we started off more avant-garde haha
So yes, Alone was the first song with a proper song structure.
