Itso … Sounds familiar, if only I could put my finger on it! 😉
HELLO and WELCOME! We’re glad you joined us here, please make yourself at home … -
The first one that comes to mind is “Once Upon A Time”. Out of all the songs on ORANGE that one probably changed the most from the very first idea to the final song. Can you imagine that it was quite rock n’ rolly at first? We took it in several different musical directions before we settled on a certain sound, and even then, we struggled a fair bit to get that across in the recordings. We wanted it to be quite “big” without being “too much” and we scraped and re-recorded countless tracks until we were happy with the final sound.
And once we added John Sebastian’s harp playing it all came together how we envisioned it. Though the mixing process for Papa Rudi was another tough one with the countless tracks we’ve piled on top of each other.

Our sleeping schedule is all over the place right now as it tends to be when we’re working on big releases like this. We’ll try to get it back under control in the upcoming weeks – it doesn’t feel quite right sleeping through the few hours of sunlight each day and being up all night 😉
Rich, we’re making good and regular use of all the capos you have sent with the different engravings and colours, as they are excellent quality. We’ll put it on our to-do list to send Thalia a little message once the video is out – maybe they want to give it a little plug, that’s a great idea! 🙂
Also a big, big, BIG thank you for continuing the recurring donations! Having so many things in the pipelines right now, this comes as a great support in seeing everything through and creating new content for the MLT Club and internet in general. Much love from all of us <3Today we celebrated the last months of work by going out for dinner. Now we’re a stuffed but happy little family. All of you have come along in our thoughts and chatter.

Holy Moly Jung! First of all, thank you so much for your most recent extremely generous donation but also for all the other moral support over the years. We are blown away, a little speechless and can only say thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you for believing in what we do and for helping us being able to continue this journey ❤
Now that the MLT Club is set up and running and the 2 new albums are about to see the light of day, we can’t wait to get back on the case of making more videos and filling the internet and MLT Club with new music!
Loved reading more about your life and thank you for the introduction to everyone here. You should start picking up the piano again 😉 -
Thank you, Jacki and we can only repeat: A Most MLT CLUB WELCOME to you all! 🙂
How beautiful that this place is already getting filled with art and poems – by all of us.
Big hugs! -
Now that’s an introduction! 😉 Glad you decided to join us here and that you shared some of your life with the MLT Club. It feels great being able to say that … MLT Club … it is finally reality (we’ve been working on this behind the scenes for ages!).
We’ll be posting plenty in here and can’t wait to extend and grow this part of the www. Great to have you on board and looking forward to new adventures 🙂 -

Hello Christopher! Welcome, welcome, welcome 🙂 I love how so many here share our love for the Beatles. Crazy to think how they played such a big part in bringing us all together. Glad you found us on YouTube through our covers and decided to join us here!
Lots of new posts coming soon!
❤

Always so good to hear/read from you and we’re happy you decided to join us here 🙂 We loved this introduction and reading about your (condensed) life story. It’s fascinating hearing from people that have insight into the good and bad of the music industry that watch our journey through the lense of their experiences. We’re glad you like how we’re going about things, purposely staying away from certain paths. That means a lot.
Great to see you here and thanks for the support! (… she says, wearing some fab headphones!)

A big welcome and thanks for the introduction 🙂 Travel, Photography, Family and music … hey, that’s plenty interesting. I’ve really gotten into photography too over the last few years and of course music, travel and family are the greatest joys in life! Thanks for joining us here 🙂

Hi Rich! Welcome, welcome, welcome! ????
We’re excited about sharing “Baby Mine” with the rest of the world! It’s such a great song and as you know we had one hell of a time working on it. It was my first time using a washboard too … I usually prefer the machine 😉 Thanks for your continued support over the years, it’s meant a lot to us.
Have fun here and make yourself at home!

Administrator12/10/2018 at 03:18 in reply to: where was the funniest location that inspired you for a song idea ?!As far as actual location goes, nothing too crazy comes to mind, but I can think of a state in a certain location that inspired me to write “Count On Me”. That counts, right? 😉 Back in Austria we sometimes had power blackouts during storms or heavy winds (normally due to a tree hitting a power pole somewhere). “Sometimes I throw a stone into the darkness …”. The concept for the song came to me sitting in the pitch black during one of those power cuts.
