Lisa, thank you for your response. It was interesting to hear how you did the HC solo. But don’t sell yourself short. It’s like riding a bike, you never forget and I’m sure if you’d a mind to you could play that solo start to finish to perfection. The whole left handed thing, I’m not so sure it’s a mirrored image because Mona is strumming with her left hand. I went back and found it. It’s in the Liverpool Calling video between the 1:25 and 1:30 mark.

I continually post videos to my FB timeline in hopes I’ll get some likes and comments that some of my friends actually listened to the videos I post and hopefully feel the groove. They usually fall on deaf ears even though I really try and encourage them to give them a try. Case in point, here’s what I posted this morning in honor of their 2 millionth view of While My Guitar Gently Weeps. I inserted a link to the YouTube Video.
These twin sisters from Austria are my current faves and this cover of a great George Harrison composition recently gained over 2 million YouTube views. Have a listen. They do an excellent job covering it and if you like it check out their other work on YouTube. They do great, true to the original, covers of 60’s acts plus write their own material. Their recent LP, Orange, released last year, is an excellent album, one of the best I’ve heard in a long time. If you want to have a feel good musical experience, spend some time with the MonaLisa Twins.
It just upsets me that I can’t seem to get through to some of these people, but I’m trying.

I too hope their popularity can explode and all the far reaches of the world can experience the joy and pleasure we are right now. I know as they grow their paths will shift and maybe take them in new directions. But right now I just love the connection with them and how they share so many things with their fan base. I know they will be forever appreciative of our ongoing support. As long as they are happy in their lives and careers then I will be happy too. It’s just if this part of their journey comes to a close I will miss it. But as was suggested, I will just pass on to the girls at the No More Worries Company and continue to just stay groovy. May God bless the Wagner family.

If I was in a band and mentioned in a positive light in the same breath as the Beatles, I would be floored and honored. I love the Beatles covers they do every bit as much as I love their original music. They are just simply two multi-talented young ladies who I think could cover any band they’d a mind too. And I will stack Orange up against the best of them. The question in my mind is do they even comprehend just how great they are?

We have a ghost in our house and we call him Uncle Harry. He’s pretty polite and doesn’t keep us up a night so “It’s Alright”. Although like yours, we’ve never seen him but whenever my wife and I hear some strange noise we just figure it’s Uncle Harry moving around. I’ve been known to yell, “Yo, Uncle Harry, knock it off.” We are so easily amused.

Well it certainly isn’t worth spending £1000 to find out. Sometimes it’s good to have a little mystery in our lives.

I was wondering about as well. I haven’t been getting notifications either.

With the high quality of their other efforts I would have expected nothing less.

Gabriella Quevedo is an amazing guitarist. I love her rendition of Billie Jean.

Tim, check out Sina-Drums on YouTube. She is an amazing drummer and only 19 years old.

Well I thought I had it figured out who did lead on most of your songs but you got me on Club 27. I could have sworn that was Lisa. But then that confirms what Tim thought because I thought the same thing and that Mona tends to do lead on the rockers. But I will say this, Club 27 kicks some major butt. That is one heck of an awesome song.

Unfortunately there is another member of Club 27. Alan “Blind Owl” Wilson co-founder and leader of Canned Heat. It’s amazing how many artists never made it past 27. One of my favorite Badfinger songs was actually the flip side of No Matter What, I think, and that was Carry on til Tomorrow. That’s a great song in my opinion.

Hey Mona
Very nice you guys did a gig in Whitby. I personally would love to see you guys play live and if I ever win the lottery I’ll be reaching out to you for when you have some live shows in the U.K. and I will definitely take a flight and go see you then visit the old haunts at Whitby and Scarborough plus I would love to visit Liverpool and see the home of the Fab 4. But anyhow, I’m sure Whitby’s changed quite a bit since I was last there but I would still love going back again. But then I’m sure the Abbey is unchanged. I went there many times but man sometimes that wind coming off the North Sea up there could be downright brutal. Can you tell me, do they still make and serve Double Diamond beer over there. I used to love that as it was so smooth like Guiness. It took me a while to get accustomed to room temperature beer but I really did acquire a taste for it. Thank you so much for your response. I really love what you all do as it brings a great deal of pleasure to me. Keep up the great work and to quote my two favorite Austrian musicians… oh wait, that’s you and Lisa, haha, stay groovy.
