From my favorite band and favorite LP. I think John Fogerty should be up there with the best rockers of all time and he could also deliver some gut wrenching blues. Cool thing is John is still out playing, recently in the UK and after 50 years finally got the rights back to his CCR songs.https://youtu.be/Lb3ppp_RoT0

Hi Steve. Just wanted to say I haven’t got my vinyl copy of WHY? yet but I have the CD. While the cover art on the CD is the same as the vinyl, the size makes a lot of difference. I recently purchased a CD version of The Rolling Stones “Exile On Main Street” an album I cherished in my youth. While the music sounded great the CD cover, although the same artwork, just doesn’t have the appeal of the 12×12 gatefold presentation that the vinyl cover gave. Then my copy of the “Orange” vinyl came and I was totally blown away by how beautiful that huge glossy cover was and then sliding out that gorgeous orange and white vinyl. I had forgotten how beautiful a vinyl album presentation could be. Just beautiful opening up the cover to reveal the message “Stay Groovy” and big beautiful signatures. I am glad I spent the extra money to get the original version. Now I can’t wait to see that 12×12 WHY? album cover. I’ll share my feelings about it then. Take care my friends.

Hi Jung. I just came across this video in the archives a day or two ago and really enjoyed it. Almost the same day the Africa video crossed the million view mark. Definitely a cool video clip and piece of MLT history.

I’m not Irish and don’t drink much anymore but back when I did it was a tradition to go to the bar and drink green beer. Wisconsin folks don’t need much of an excuse to drink beer. Just being Friday will do. I know the Irish are very good at it too. A nephew of mine got married years ago and 2 friends of his came straight from Ireland. They were drinking when they got off the plane. Drank through the wedding and reception and dance too and never really got drunk. Just had a good time. They were probably drinking all the way home too. Good times. Happy St. Patrick day to all the Irish clubbers.

Hi Kevin. I’m Tim from Wisconsin. First off, thanks for your military service. I’ve been in this Club since December and still haven’t found everything. Hundreds of pictures in the archives. A lot of great music videos that you won’t find anywhere. Lots of interviews and radio broadcasts. I’d say one of the coolest things to watch for anyone new is the Livestream from 2022. It’s under the Fun and Games tab and in the Advent calendar for 2022. It’s an hour and a half of fun and music and gives you the feeling you’re sitting in the room with Mona and Lisa. Anyways nice to have you here and hope you enjoy in the club.

Oh don’t worry Jacki. I don’t understand it either. I have a high school diploma from a town of less than 10,000 people. I just find it amazing that they can track all this stuff. Tomas is right saying they can track everything and cross reference the data with every company and outlet you do business with. By tracking my purchases at the local Walmart I’m sure they could tell what size shoes I where or what brand of peanut butter I prefer. Kind of funny but kind of scary too. Not much we can do except enjoy life, friends, music and springtime hee hee and keep groovin’ on.

Hi Jurgen, I was talking with a friend of mine that works at the Air Force base in Ramstein near Frankfurt. She said she hasn’t been to the Miniature World in Hamburg but has been to one in The Netherlands. I was thinking The Twins could do a video there. I even know a cover they could do. Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult. Lol. Mona as Godzilla of course with a flute or maybe one of those big Tubas.

I would love to hear them do a proper version of Little Help From My Friends. Maybe for a Duo Sessions. Just the little snippet on here sounds amazing. I love when Mona plays a 12 string.

I don’t understand how a lot of it works David. I know the views and subscriptions do tend to steamroll. I started my channel exactly 10 years ago this month. In February I was informed I reached 100,000 views. Today I have 139,802 views. Crazy. There is a tab where I can track views in real time which may be what your looking for but if you are trying to track the Twins videos you would need access to there channel dashboard.

Hi David. I have a YouTube channel I started a while back just to post family videos. During the pandemic lockdowns I made a few videos using TV and Movie clips backed by music. Some were funny dance clips and some were soap opera “Catfight” clips. The catfight videos found an audience and now have a few thousand views. I got a notice from YouTube in February saying I had reached 100,000 views so I started looking at the YouTube analytics. Yeah, YouTube can tell you what countries and cities your views are coming from, viewing duration, age and gender demographics and more stats than I will ever absorb. It just amazes me that people in more than 100 countries including England, Russia, Ukraine, Malaysia and Australia have watched my stupid videos. I try to imagine someone sitting by a campfire in a tropical jungle or Australian outback watching The Brady Bunch dancing to T.Rex. One thing I find confusing are some channels I follow that have 100,000 subscribers but have only 50,000 views on videos that are a few years old. Obviously not all subscribers are watching the videos. I would be curious to hear your thoughts on that. Have a good day David and thanks for your work on all the stats.
