I’ve always been a big fan of British humor. Monty Python, Rowan Atkinson, The Young Ones, Benny Hill, Billy Connolly, Etc.
And some of us know how hilarious some of Monty Python’s songs can be! I’ll let you readers go search those out! LOL!

My big MLT joy is my hand written lyrics to “June”! I was one of 15 who was to buy one. I’m pretty sure Lisa wrote them out based a little detective work looking at other videos with their writing showing. My stack of MLT CDs, all the autographed cards, calender and CDs.
I’m so glad I discovered these girls back in 2018. Just searching for Beatles videos and they popped up! I was hooked immediately but I can’t remember which video I saw first from them. Probably Drive my car or Please please me.
MLT forever!

For me it was the mid to late 60’s as a kid. The Beatles seemed to be everywhere. Radio, TV, newspapers. There was no escaping them. Although later in the early 70’s most of us were into harder rock. Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Kiss, Grand Funk Railroad, Zeppelin for example. So that’s what we mostly played as budding musicians.

Yes it’s sad we lost Judith. What a fantastic voice she had. “I’ll never find another you” is such a classic and I’ve must have played that song a million times over the years.

You draw better than I do Jackie! Glad your eyes are feeling good. My right eye seems to be acting up. Irritated, watery. Might be time to see an eye doc myself.

I’ve mentioned it before but when I discovered the twins back in “June” of 2018 I was in the beginning of some nasty health issues. But the girls music and videos really lifted my spirits up high. They helped me get through a lot. Many trips to the ER, 2 operations (one a week long hospital stay). There’s really no way to repay them. I love those 2 immensely. Oh to be 28 again.
As my favorite song on “Orange” says, “That’s Life”.

Rock on girls!

He pretty much hit the nail right on the head with his comparisons. While I was never a really big Beach Boys fan I did like some of their music. Brian Wilson was and probably still is a legendary musical genius. Just like Paul & John.

Here’s one that immediately comes to my mind, Karn Evil 9 1st Impression from Emerson, Lake & Palmer. My all time favorite Keyboard player and one of my all time favorite drummers. And Greg Lake playing his amazing bass and his vocals are superb! Sadly Keith and Greg are no longer with us…

Yes their harmonies sometimes send chills down my spine! My favorite song on Orange is “That’s life”, I just love that tune and the video for it as well. It really helped me get through some health issues back when it first came out. It cheered me up to no end!

Hey Bill CONGRATS! You’re going to LOVE retirement! I’ll be retired 9 years in about 3 weeks already, it goes VERY FAST! Too fast. It sure is nice not having to rush around in the morning getting ready for another day on the old rock pile. More time for YOU now! YOU are now the boss! Congrats again!

Ahhh yes another classic ELP clip! Those 3 guys were something special. Superb musicians. Carl is still going strong.
