Geils band, original Alice Cooper band, early Kiss, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, The Good Rats, ELP just to name a few. I’m not a fan of 80’s and 90’s stuff, although there were a few decent songs here and there. Mona and Lisa’s work is really the only new stuff I can stomach. Most of the time I’m listening to the above mentioned groups and some others of those eras.

I’ve always wanted to visit the U.K., especially Liverpool but alas at my age and health I don’t see it happening. Unless they play in N.Y. nearby I’ll probably never get to see these lovely girls live. One thing they COULD do is stream their shows live once they start playing out again. IF they ever do that is. I should have went over in my younger days but hindsight is 20/20 of course.
If you ever get over there Tim give them a hug for me.

Happy Birthday Bill! I’m right behind you, I’ll be 64 on May 4th. Although parts of me feel 90. Hope you had a great day!

Happy Birthday indeed to Papa Rudi! Thanks for joining in the last Q&A video too! Always great to see him and Michaela!

I’m with Mona regarding solos, I don’t like them either. I played for years and refused to do them. Ringo by the way never liked them either. Waste of time IMHO. Not a fan of long guitar solos either. I guess they are done to give other members of the band a break but I say FORGET THAT! Play another song or two instead!

Nothing wrong with playing air drums or guitar! I played drums many years ago as well as some guitar. I still play rhythm guitar for fun. You’re never too old to learn! I learned “June” shortly after I first heard it, love that song a bunch!

I’m sure plenty of radio, TV, entertainment industry people scour the internet and see/find or hear about various talents every day. Radio isn’t what it used to be in the 60’s and 70’s. Too many stations went all news or sports.
Turning Sirius/XM on to the Twins might be a good idea, the 60’s on 6 and 70’s channels should LOVE these girls! Also the Beatles Channel. Not sure how radio is or how it works in England or other places in Europe. Do they program differently over there?

Oh man when I was young I had the biggest crush on Karen Carpenter and Barbara Eden. Then Dawn Wells from Gilligan’s Island. Oh to be young again….

Hi Bill and Maddie! Good for you Bill retiring soon! Congrats! I retired 8 1/2 years ago and been loving it! More time for ME now. One of my cousin’s has 3 girls that grew up playing softball too and man are they really good at it! Now they’re young women with jobs. Scary how fast time flies by. Enjoy watching Maddie as much as you can.

Well said Jung and I echo your comments! It’s got to be better in 2022 than it has been the past 2 years. We can get through it, we just have to keep on keepin’ on as they say. Rock on MLT!

Well, I was 5 years old and starting kindergarten. I don’t remember much more than that though. I remember not wanting to be left there at school the first few days.

Got to love the Seekers! Here’s my favorite from them, what a voice Judith has! Oh and on St. Patrick day I change my name to Paddy O’ Furniture. 😉
