I’ve been an avid gardener for decades, glad to see Mona is getting into it too! My favorite flowers to grow currently are Cosmos and Portulaca. I also grow a bunch of carnivorous plants. Venus Flytraps, tropical sundews and a few butterworts and utricularia.
For veggies I like growing Kale, carrots, snap peas, collards, zucchini. I used to grow tomatoes, peppers, onions and garlic but because of a bad acid reflux condition I had to give up eating those things.
It’s time to start seeds here in N.Y.! I’m ready for warmer weather!

For me it comes down to who you listen to more. For me it’s The Beatles by a VERY wide margin. I don’t own a single Stones recording. That’s not to say I think they stink, I just prefer The Beatles over the Stones. I do like a few Stones songs.
I’m not going to get into a debate over who are the better musicians. Who really cares?

Funny you posted this, I just watched this a few weeks ago! After someone mentioned Jim in another thread here. There’s a few good Jim Croce videos on Youtube. Yet another great musician that left us way too soon. One of my faves.

Ukes are so much fun! I have a cheap Aklot concert and a very nice KALA baritone uke I play every day. I’m no where are good as Lisa but I still have fun. And if you want your mind blown check out a young man on Youtube named Feng E. That kid is BEYOND AMAZING!

Hi Will and I hope things are going well. I listen to the girls ALL the time! I’ve had my own health issues over the past 2 years, seems like one thing after another and these girls have REALLY helped me through my rough times. I discovered them shortly after my problems started in 2018. They are the best medicine I could ever ask for.

I think the smiley face is a sweet gesture. The fact that you girls sign stuff for us is wonderful. A lot of us will probably never get to see you live so this club and your signatures help to ease that pain.

I LOVE MLT’s version of Tonight you belong to me. LOVE IT! I have a concert Uke and a baritone uke. I play the baritone uke all the time the most as it’s like playing guitar without the low E and A strings. SO much fun!
