Get a cup of tea, press “Play”, sit back and enjoy.
This player will randomly select songs from our entire music catalogue and play it for you. 6 hours worth of music … And no ad breaks 😉
My compliments on all your music. Been raining here all day so I’ve been doing house work and listening to the jukebox all afternoon. Not a bad song in the mix. Thank you.
Listening to “If I Needed Someone”, which is great, but I had a “Mandela Moment”. I could swear I’ve always heard an extra note being played in George’s iconic twangy figure at the beginning of the song. I looked it up and every bit of sheet music has that note missing, which means it was never there. So then I listened to the original and there it was! I then listened to a bunch of covers and some people play the “extra” note and some don’t. Now I’m just confused. Maybe whoever wrote down the Beatles’ songs left the note out originally? Maybe George played it various ways?
This is perfect. Just switch on, turn volume to 11 and get ready to be blown away by track after track of sheer musical brilliance. What a treasure chest of classics.
I love the jukebox. A breath of fresh air after YouTube. Not to mention my own inability to listen to the right songs at the right times. 🙂
YouTube is getting crazy with commercials, if I just want to listen to great music, this is where I come to.
It’s such a wonderful experience relaxing to the Surprise Jukebox playing, great classic songs, one after another carried in the beautiful and amazing harmonies, vocals and arrangements of Mona and Lisa, and now there are more originals than ever from WHY?. And you know what, the MLT originals fit right in there on equal standing with the great masterpieces of the legends.
Listening to “You’re Gonna Lose That Girl”. What a great job on vocals. Outstanding.
First time I heard “Good Mornig Starshine”, I love it , beautiful cover, did you do a video for this song? Mona is fabulous at the harmonica.
First time to use the Jukebox!! It’s great, I don’t have to make a decision on which song to listen to next! Why? is an incredible album. Keep up the good work! Still A Friend Of Mine, though, is still my favorite song. The way that song starts out is a grabber and you can’t escape….
Greetings to my favourite Austrian/Liverpudlians! 🙂 Alan in Canada, near Toronto, here. I have just listened to your 2007 live album on the Jukebox for the first time, and although Mona and Lisa sound much younger, they still sound amazing. I was surprised at the selection of music, from Eric Clapton, to Bob Dylan, to Cat Stevens, and more, with some Beatles of course. If I had a negative, comment, the saxophone seems a little overbearing on the earlier tracks. On the whole a great album! Wunderbar! I shall have add it to my collection! Thank you!
It is Exam Week at our High School…no exam for me to proctor this morning…Surprise Jukebox is on…doing some grading…listening to “Still a Friend of Mine”…even though everything is run by maniacs with maniac means and I feel that I am offering pearls before swine it is all right.
I really like the Surprise Jukebox, especially while doing household chores. I only wish I could keep the Jukebox playing while exploring other areas of the MLT Club.
Hi Team MLT. Is there any way to purchase downloads of the 7 additional recordings – Lola etc. I can’t find a way to do it from my Samsung phone, though I’ve managed to download everything else in desktop mode. Thanks.
PS. The WHY? album is fantastic!! I’d love to see a video of the making of the impressive cover artwork. Xx💕
Maureen I think it is possible via “Download all albums”(see at the bottom).
Thanks, Fred. I get a download link for each pictured album when I press listen (even though I’m using my phone) but not for the additional recordings. I don’t see download all albums anywhere. I guess I’ll have to try a computer download (in the library) as MLT recommend. Thanks for your advice. Hope you have a Merry Christmas (if you celebrate it) and a Happy Hogmanay and New Year from Scotland. “Lang may yer lum reek wi’ ither folk’s coal” 😊 Xx💕
Maureen, I have the songs, I downloaded them on my computure, so not on my phone. I learned a new word “Hogmanay” Scotisch new year. I tried to find the meaning of your last line, I am sure it is not related to coal. For you also “Merry Christmas” and all the best Mona LIsa music in 2023.
Hi Fred. It’s a traditional Scottish greeting for the new year. When someone visits your house just after “the bells” at 12 o’clock – (first footers they’re called) they say (translated) “Long may your chimney smoke … with other folks’ coal” and hand you a piece of coal. It’s a wish for comfort and a warm home for the next year. We Scots are known (wrongly!) for being a bit tight with money so it’s also a wee joke on that theme. Most people only say the first half of the greeting. Wishing you and yours all the best and a warm home in 2023 and beyond. Xx💕
Thanks Maureen, learned somethink new. We Dutch are also known to be tight with money, which is also not really correct.
The jukebox seems to be repeating itself a lot tonight. A few songs will play, and then one comes on that played a while ago. Nothing like 6 hours. It’s frustrating!
Oh. My. “Africa” ❤️????
I’m loving the jukebox! Why do your voices sound different from the MP3s? And the instruments sound cleaner. Is the jukebox M4a files? I have all of the MP3s, I think. Wish I’d known about M4a. I have a MacBook Air, so iTunes version would be better, I guess.
Lovely idea! I have all the MP3s of all the albums on a memory stick in my car, too…!
I just noticed “Good Morning Starshine” is here. Wowcool.
I love the jukebox!!!
I just heard “Summer Rain” for the first time on Surprise Jukebox! Thanks for updating! Is “What a Wonderful World” there, yet? I adore your version when your younger selves sat amongst the dandelions in your Austrian backyard and spontaneously performed it!
Everyday I’m finding something new, something unique, something wonderful! You could almost say IT’S GETTING SO MUCH BETTER ALL TIME ????❤️????????????????????????????????
What a better way to spend A Sunday afternoon! And my favorite or one of many just played Count On Me…wow dont get much better than this!!
Finally got to this section and WOW …Love it! Thank you so much Mona and Lisa this is the best and to me? Nothing else to listen to!! Keep it coming love it
I have to be an idiot, I had no idea this was here, maybe a little blind.
This is great!!!! Thank you!!!! Walt Music
As you know I haven’t been in the Club very long but I wanted to tell you that the Surprise Jukebox has become my best friend. I spend a lot of time alone especially during this pandemic, but I can turn this feature on and listen for hours. This was a fabulous idea!!!
Ahh, here it is! The nucleus, the treasure chest, the MLT mother load! The musical jewel box, the home source of all good vibrations MLT and the home planet of Groovy! But wait! Please dispatch a search party for our missing comrade “Good Morning Starshine”!
Please please me oh yeah and PUT THE BAND BACK TOGETHER and get to the States…you girls could / should be world wide stars while you’re still young….playing “live” music like you do you’d have crowds in a frenzy…believe me you’d fill the music halls in Dallas / Ft Worth…fabulous listening to the jukebox of new album Live at the Cavern Club…THANK YOU
I just recently discovered Mona and Lisa. And all I can say is that I can’t get enough! I play them at work all the time. I even have customers wanting to know who I have playing in the background.
Who needs MTV when you have MLT?!? Great originals and groovy classics all rolled into two fab twin sisters! Wait….what’s that I here in the distance…..could it be the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?…….why, yes it is!….And it’s calling your names!………
Hello Mona and Lisa. I only found out about you two a couple of weeks ago on FB when someone posted a video. Your music and talent is incredible. I just wish I joined your club prior to already buying 4 of your albums. Just got them a couple a days ago and listened to them all already. Beautiful sounds. Familiar yet unique. As in my profile pic I am a man of the 60’s and some of these got me and others through some tough times, so a sincere Thank You. By the way, you have plans of doing “Hey Jude”, the most played song heard during boot camp, Sept. of ’68? Just a though. Stay Groovy Ladies!
Mona and Lisa I only found you yesterday and I am a massive fan already love the music, your fabulous voices, the song choices. Very talented and versatile also fantastic musicians. A very refreshing brand of music. Absolutely love listening to you. Xx
OMG….what a nice and generous gesture for the folks in the MLT club. Those who belong to the club more than likely have at least one of each of these albums in their possession but what a great idea to have everything in one place like this…. AND what a terrific way to show friends and family your catalog and how talented the two of you in the hope of creating new fans!
Groovy Jivin Jukebox Junction going on here…. Finally…. Songs that you are proud to have in your head all day, everyday…. Woohoo…. Crank er Up.. Sing Aloud and Proud, MLTBuzzing Crowd… ?????
What a wonderful catalogue of beautiful, groovy music you are developing here, with the duo sessions the icing on the cake.
Always enjoy having the Jukebox playing while I do things. Like a great music radio station. Awesome to hear the Duo Session music is added to the Jukebox lineup.
