60s Shoot 2014 – Photos

After moving to the UK in 2014 we decided it was time for some new promo photos. Newspapers, online blogs and promoters always ask for up to date band photos, so we spent a few afternoons stocking up on fitting images.

Every corner of our house has been used as a photo studio in one way or another at this point and we love getting creative with these sort of things. We tried to keep a 60s theme going with this particular set of images and have used them for all sorts of things over the years. The one with us blowing the bubbles even made it on one of our mugs 😉

  1. I’ve said it before. When it comes to flower children, you two are the real deal! Just beautiful Mona and Lisa! Love your record collection too. Is it yours or Papa Rudi’s? You even have The Rolling Stones “December’s Children” and “Between The Buttons”.

I can also see a Sandie Shaw album there. When are we going to hear your cover of her “Long Live Love”? I’m sure Michaela could blend in well on this track. Give it a listen some time. The German-language version charted in Austria in 1965 (No 3). Alternatively, how about “Only You Can Do It”, by Francoise Hardy?

  2. Groovy Funky Fab…. Digging the 60s Vibe Essences going on here…. You always take the most clever and spunky photos and your facial expressions… background… foreground… All around…. Quite profound !! Luv them… Yeah… Yeah… Yeah…. Thankyou for sharing!!

  3. Those are some very lovely and artistically done portraits.
The one with the “How to Sing” book cracks me up. It’s like a portrait of Einstein holding a “Learning Arithmetic” book. BTW, you guys hold your fists like someone who took martial arts lessons. It’s proper anyway.

  4. They’re great pictures. Reminds me of a “Mad Day Out” 🙂

  5. It’s impossible for you 2 to take a bad picture. You are such natural beauties! Long live the 60’s!
