About the Album

MonaLisa Twins play Beatles & more Vol. 3” is the third cover compilation album released by the MonaLisa Twins. It consists of 14 cover songs, recorded between 2015 and 2018. You will find a lot of Beatles on it but the Twins also covered songs by The KinksCreamSimon & Garfunkel and many more.

John Sebastian (The Lovin’ Spoonful) also joins them for a version of his 60’s classic “Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind”.“We recorded a handful of songs just for the release of Volume 3 and really enjoy the selection of songs on this one. It’s a great mix of our favourite tracks from different corners of music, and we honour the songs that we decided to cover immensely. Recording with John Sebastian was especially fun, we did that in our Studio in Merseyside

The album contains mainly of studio recordings with one live performance of “You’re Going To Lose That Girl” which got recorded during the Twins’ 2 year residency at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool.

Many tracks on the CD have been on the MonaLisa Twins YouTube channel for years, while others have not been published anywhere before. People from all over the world discovered them by searching for covers of their favourite songs and then kept following the Twins’ musical career. The “MonaLisa Twins play Beatles & more” Album Series is a fan requested project and you can also find Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 in the store.

I bought this album, and as a Beatles fan I never thought that anyone could “outdo” Lennon and McCartney but these ladies have created their own renditions of classics that areas good as if not better than, the originals.
Fantastic arrangements and absolutely amazing harmonies.
Mona and Lisa are a joy to listen to….simply stunning!

i have bought the album as the music brings back memories so good to hear the lyrics again

Love the great harmonies and fresh female voices! Being able to understand the lyrics makes the songs so much more enjoyable. I see by the comments that you are appealing to a broad range of us seniors who heard the Beatles when they first burst onto the music scene. Good stuff! I now have all the music you’ve offered online, downloading first the Orange album. Enjoy your young lives! It will go by so fast,

My comment on all of the Beatles And More albums is the same.
I was two when Love Me Do was new. I don’t remember that but my parents told me that when The Beatles came on the radio, I would run inside from wherever I was and sit on the floor with my ear right in front of one of the speakers. To this day, I still adore anything with great vocal harmony and no autotune.
All of these songs are part of my childhood and teen years story; the good part.
You perform them old school with the right old school sound and still manage to make all of them your own and fresh and new. Beyonce and Ga Ga fans could get an education and I hope they do.
I am sure there are already thousands (or maybe millions) of young like you and old like me who have a blast singing along like the kids we all once were. Money sure can’t buy that kind of love.
I have to quote Victor Wooten here: “The solution may have to come from the bottom up. Is anyone working on a bomb that makes people love you? Maybe a cupid bomb? I believe we already have it; it’s called music, and every country has their own version of it. And it works; it brings people together; you don’t have to know a thing about it to get it; it’s a language; it’s a lifestyle and it can save the world. My name is Victor Wooten; I’m a musician and I hope you will join my on the battle field”.
It seems to me you already have and I’m mightily glad of it.
    Thank you. 🙂

You girls are really great. I’m 73, lived in Germany when the Beatles started before coming to America. I’m a guitar player since I was 13 years old. I love it at the end of for what it’s worth saying dankashern (sp?). Keep it up

I’m 71 and I never thought that I would have the chance to hear songs like these again. You girls are truly a beautiful blessing for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This is just so good and happy, and the Beatles harmonies are absolutely perfect!

I bought the bundle and got the three albums, Beatles and More, plus vol 2&3. I knew all the songs so I knew that would not disappoint but the delivery was something special! MonaLisa Twins have developed a unique ability to pay homage to the original song whilst still putting there own stamp to it. Both the vocals and musicianship are exceptional. As a musician myself I would love to have thought of this concept first but MLT got there first! My next project is to see them live somewhere!

I like this album. Very nice covers of famous songs.

Can only echo my review of the Orange Album and the extraordinary talent of MonaLisa Twins and say I absolutely love this album also. Have to keep listening to them. Brilliant x

Loved all your covers. More 60’s stuff please.
