Hi Bill!

A long time ago, shortly after the album came out we wrote a whole post about the title of the album, where it came from and what the inspiration for it was. You can find it here if you want to read up on our answer back then:

Basically, it was Stanley Kubrik’s “Clockwork Orange” that first made us think of the word, plus there are quite a few unique quirks about “orange” … it hardly rhymes with anything, for example. And yes, it’s a pretty colour, too! 😉

I find this answer very interesting. I had assumed Mona and Lisa chose the name Orange because Mona – blond; plus Lisa – red; and together they make orange.
